Don't really recall seeing this flavour at Salted Caramel previously. Despite its light taste, its quite surprising how this flavour was a proper ice-cream instead of a sorbet. Light melon flavours with a bit of zest, tasted much like Guava to me which was pretty adequate for a sweet yet soft dessert after a heavy tasting meal.

Topped with "gold label" honeycomb ice cream! "Gold labelled" ice cream +60 cents more to the single scoop of $3.30.

Team lunch at the new cafe in the Tai Seng area. Hidden behind dark glass doors, 23 Jumpin serves affordable cafe fare without compromising on the taste. The Spicy Chicken Burger ($8) was marinated with a chilli padi mix before pan frying and then drizzled with mayonnaise and melted cheese. Be warned for the tint of spiciness in between your tastebuds after the first bite.

Medium intensity with a well balanced body, strong finish with a hint of cocoa.

I have to admit the ice cream flavours were pretty decent even though the waffles were lacklustre

More and more places in Singapore are offering the well loved multi-layered mille crepe cakes. Here are the Hokkaido Milk Chocolate and Matcha Azuki Mille Crepe cakes at Doi Chaang Coffee. I like that the cakes are not too sweet and the crepes are so thin and creamy.

With the rain that comes every now and then, we get ourselves the photo worthy choice - the rainbow cake! With cream cheese frosting inserted between it's colored layers, it deserves a good shot after all! Safe choice but not the best choice, the taste of rainbow cakes never wowed me so still searching for the one that tastes as good as it looks. Sun ray cafe serves good food too (Hints: Prawn aglio olio) and coffee which the beans they roast their own. Oh and it's pet friendly too🐶🐱

it’s not too sweet, its not too moist but more towards the dry and fluffy spongy kind. The flavours were quite light so you can actually taste the cream cheese.

One of my fave place to go for waffles. Their yummy waffles paired with salted caramel ice cream (my fave) I could easily finish one full waffle by myself even after a heavy dinner. I would also order their root beer cake whenever I'm there 👍👍

if you're at kombi, take a walk over to OTGHouse! small cafe hidden in an estate, serves up ice cream, waffles, cake etc. they have this TIM TAM flavor that my friend was in love with :)
