Mala was not very strong but savoury. Noodle is chewy and the onsen egg was good. However, the pig intestines taste was alil overwhelming.

Tried other food:
โ€ข Tomato Soup with Shredded Chicken Noodle ($12.90)
โ€ข Hot and Sour Soup with Sliced Marbled Beef Noodle ($13.50)
โ€ข Hot and Sour Soup with Sliced Sea bass Noodle ($14.90)

Tomato soup is very rich and tasty. Its very flavourful.

Nice ambience esp on a weekend
Weekday might have preschoolers around
Nothing special with the drinks they offer but I would definitely return for the coworking space.

Very aesthetic to capture instagrammable photos as well

Claimed the 1-for-1 burpple deal with fried tofu rice bowl and oldskool rice bowl (with spam, truffle egg & few broccoli). Looks similar but definitely nice. Would return for the deal but not ala carte order since its slightly pricier for the simple bento that it offers. Takeaway have to pay additional $1 for the bento box.

They so offer nett lunch set meal at a cheaper price with more variety to choose as well.

Value for money? Nopee without the 1-for-1 disc

Had this dessert as tea while walking along Arab Street in Bugis. Apparently the stall had moved over to Haji Lane and the menu had changed. Unsure about the new menu.

But tried the biscoff ice cream with waffle and it was good. Biscoff taste was strong yet not too overwhelming. Waffle was hot and crispy which brings the dessert to a high notch.

Had the hazelnut ice cream too and it tasted similar to B&J ice cream HAHA

Owner was superrrrrrrrrr nice and friendly. Able to strike a conversation with the owner and learnt alot about dessert store management etc wew

Value for money: with the burpple deal, yes >,

Found this store in Holland Village that offers affordable Japanese rice bowls. The rice bowls are definitely delicious with the salmon and scallop nicely done and fresh. The rice was not mushy too ๐Ÿ‘

I had the smoked tuna don and its unbelievable simple yet amazing. Its torched nicely with a hint of smoked bbq aftertaste. Awesome! Tuna was definitely fresh but slightly salty for me. Portion was huge and very filling even for a guy.

Got the salmon sashimi at $10 nett since it was on promotion that day. They also offer other promotion and rice bowls at nett price for lunch so you can check it out at the store on the day itself.

Value for money? Yepp! (with 1-for-1 deal)

Restaurant is located inside Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski. Ambience was really nice to host a mini celebration meal. Order the Baba Porchetta and Guinness Beef Bourguignon with the 1-for-1 burpple deal.

The Baba Porchetta was awesome! It is delicious as the meat is tender and tasty. Definitely worth the price. The other was a beef stew with 3 slices of garlic bread. Omg, its superrr good too. The bowl of stew may look normal and unappetising but its definitely too good to be true. The beef melts in your mouth once you bite it. The sauce was a little salty for me but if you have it with the bread, it might be better. Definitely worth the price too.

Order the cocktails too. All cocktails are charged at $17 during the happy hours (5PM-8PM). Their cocktails are just so creative and unique that I want to try it all. Gotten the Honey Pot (U.P $24) and Blood & Tears (U.P $24). Honey Pot is sweet, tasted like a childhood drink. Definitely a good drink to have on a hot day. Blood & Tears is the totally opposite. It tasted slightly bitter and alcohol is strong. Good for those who are good drinkers. (Weak drinkers shouldn't try)

Value for money: Slightly on the pricier end >

Grabbed myself a cup of iced white coffee and ice mocha with the 1-for-1 burpple deal. Store is located in the central, near the market hence it was very convenient for me (5mins walk away from my house). Cafe is very small but cute. The barista were all very nice and friendly.

White coffee was nice and bitter. You will have to add sugar into the coffee if you prefer it sweet. Mocha tasted slightly more bitter than the white coffee but with a hint of chocolate smell. Love both coffees. Take note, you will have to top up $0.50 to make it iced.

Paid a 2nd visit to this cafe and ordered the smoked salmon pasta ($24.90). Topped it off with a soup & drink (+ $5).

Pasta was too creamy for my liking but the smoked salmon was good. Standard of the food is inconsistent. Felt that I paid more for the ambience than tne food as it is situated in a boutique hot.

They are currently have a 50% promotion for the small bites, which is really worth it for a munch. However, i didn't get it as i wouldn't be able to finish it awys. Would probably return for the small bites if the promotion is still on. Wanna get their wasabi mayo prawn ($10) and fried squid tentacles ($6).

Value for money? Not for me. (Pasta)

Shop is located at the coffeeshop inside the industrial factory, level 2. Utterly disappointed with the attitude of the cashier.

Claimed 2 burpple deals; Spicy Chicken Ramyeon ($5.80), Spicy Pork Ramyeon ($5.80), Spam Ramyeon ($5.80), Spicy Kimchi Chicken Don ($6.60). To be very honest, the ramyeon was worst than homecooked korean instant noodles. The soup has no kimchi taste. The bowl of noodles came with 2 pcs of spring onion, 3 pcs of eomuk, few pcs of meat (chicken/pork/spam) and plenty of carrots.

Wanted to take away the chicken don but the cashier didn't allow because its burpple deal and not ala carte order -.- Awys, there was nothing spicy about the rice bowl. Rice was alot, filled up 3/4 of the bowl, and topped off with a slice of lettuce, broken poached egg and chicken (not spicy).

No intention to return for another visit again.

Store is located under a HDB block 5 minutes walk away from Junction 8. Pretty convenient if you know Bishan well.

Went there specially for the buns after being reco by ๅฐ็ด…ๆ›ธ. There were 4 flavours available and i got it all since they sell in box of 5 (using the big box). Was really surprised by the look of the buns and the fillings when i opened the box at home. The buns is toasted so its very crunchy. Best served hot.

Got myself a Champagne Grape Jelly Milk Tea ($4.4) and Lychee Fruit Tea ($3.5), with the Burpple 1-for-1 deal. Personally, 25% sugar is too sweet for me. Maybe also because the jelly itself is sweet already to begin with. But the jelly is a really good add-on to the drink.

They also offer student price milk tea @ $2.50 on weekdays, from 12PM-5PM. Need to present valid student card prior to ordering.

Champagne Grape Jelly Milk Tea: 3/5 (too sweet for me)
Buns: 5/5 (definitely go try it out!!)

Pumpkin soup alone wasn't tasty for me but with the chilli, it tasted great. Staff was very patient and nice. There are 1 for 1 promotion ongoing from 3-5pm for those without burpple beyond discount.

Their lunch set meal was pretty worth it as well at $9.90 for a noodle, a side and a drink. If im working there, i would go back there for a meal.
