Hop on over to Cheras to visit this fresh-faced newbie for hearty grub, coffee and desserts! On mains, find comforting rice bowls done with a twist such as the Lychee Meat Ball Rice (RM15) with marinated meatballs served with fresh lychee, cucumber and pineapple – this one resembles the classic sweet and sour pork rice. Dessert-wise, Burppler Alyssia Yu highly recommends their Homemade Berry Cheesecake (RM16). Cap off a meal with a cuppa – the Flat White (RM12) is smooth, and they also offer an oat milk option for an additional RM2.50. Pro tip: Chye Seng Foo Coffee Shop is located next to popular Thurs2.0.

Enter this yellow door along Lorong Datuk Sulaiman 1, and it'll lead you to bread heaven. The friendly team here specialises in sourdough breads – which are delicious! You could enjoy a slice on its own for RM4, but we suggest pairing it with Sundried Tomatoes (RM2). Alternatively, have the bread in hearty dishes like the 150g Aus Ribeye & Eggs (RM35) topped with two gorgeous fried eggs. If you're here after 12pm, a must-try is the Chipotle Sourdough Grilled Cheese with Roasted Pepper Tomato Soup (RM22) stuffed generously with gooey cheese.

An intriguing look into how tea flavour changes with temperature. The cold brewed Mi Lan Xiang (also a type of oolong) has a strong honey-ish aroma. The light and floral flavours make it a very feminine drink, according to the owner, at least.
Jammy quartered eggs, fragrant mustards seeds and gherkins (pickles?? should’ve asked) on a single sourdough slice. Costed a bomb (for an open faced toast) but definitely worth treating yourself to, when you want a classy, no-frills breakfast. Or brunch. Or tea.
Fisher dough located @ damansara perdana
Open at noon time, 2pm, the timing is perfect for me as I get to rest a bit after I had my lunch
Ordered, green tea, chocolate and earl grey! The earl grey ice cream surprise everyone of us for the first bite! If you like donut x ice cream, this is the perfect place for you
Dish in frame: Baked Egg Sizzle (RM17), which having perfectly baked eggs, meatballs / sausage, splashed over in homemade provencale sauce, roasted pumpkin and garlic toast. Never thought of the roasted pumpkin had getting my attention before until I ordered this. Definitely your good choice of choosing this as your breakfast or brunch. Portion should be big enough for a grown up. A very photogenic and quiet cafe while I'm visited this during weekdays. However, traffic is worst since it is nearby IKEA Damansara. And remember to tell the guard that you are going to the cafes as there are some parking lot special for the cafehoppers !
It’s spacious and has an industrial cozy vibe. Everything is pretty much self service here, from ordering to collection of food and drinks. Wifi is available but it disconnects sometimes unfortunately. The place is dimly lit so best time get some reading done would be daytime where there’s more lights coming in.
Fēsting on a Lemak Sandwich (RM13) that features nasi lemak ingredients stacked in between sourdough bread. Think sambal ikan bilis spread. Pretty decent bite along with a cup of Flat White (RM9) and if I eavesdropped correctly, the Duck Sandwich should be a good way to go too!
Before Fat Tea, Macanese food was almost non-existent in KL (please, don't even bring up that certain pork chop bun chain). The cuisine is a unique mesh of flavours derived from Portuguese and Cantonese influences, which Fat Tea attempts to recreate. Had the Duck Rice (RM26) upon recommendation and it's unlike anything I've ever tasted. Fragrant rice is cooked with pulled duck in a porcelain dish (also imported from Macau) and finished with a layer of crusty cheese and duck bacon bits. The side of green beans were a bit too oily for my liking, but I enjoyed the rice nonetheless. It's a hefty dish so perhaps order to share if you're not accustomed to having too much rice at lunchtime. Also try the Serradura (RM8, sawdust pudding)! The smooth cold custard battles for attention with fine sawdust (crushed tea biscuits), while a fluffy sponge lies beneath to offer some balance between the two.
One of the best Japanese Home Cafe in town!
Crispy, Juicy, Tender & Well Marinated 🍗 Only at Nippori!
💰: RM38 / set comes with a main, rice, salad, miso soup, fruits & ice cream
Just found out that there’s a change in management here but still under the same name. Now, food is available such as lasagna, croissant and baked goods. The piccolo (RM9) I had was good. The staff was friendly but was quite loud on a super long phone call.
