Always prefer this restaurant for Japanese buffet but the service has been getting worse. I think they are severely understaffed. Once you order, it can take up to 1 hour for the food to arrive. This was very disappointing as a date lunch. Mood was spoilt cause of the long wait. Would probably think twice before coming back.
Best dishes are sashimi and grilled lamb chops.
Been only going to this restaurant cause it’s near my place. But after consistent bad service I have restricted my trips to get tea only from there. Today, while getting tea which should be one of the easiest orders to fulfil the person firstly looked super displeased when I asked for it to be served in a cup instead of plastic container and also looked super upset that I wanted a second cup which I had already stated at the start of the order. The service is just getting worse. Hope they improve soon!
Introducing one of my favourite seafood horfun in Singapore at Bendemeer Food Centre.
Indeed the stall (Casper)- 香香小吃 is one of my favourite seafood hor fun in Singapore. The stall owner is generous in the portion of horfun and ingredients, and the seafood used in the hor fun are all fresh.
Each plate of seafood horfun cost $5, but its definitely worthwhile trying.

Chicken Chop, Egg & Cabbage 》$3
Tender and tasty chicken chop with thick curry gravy. The egg was quite oily but overall was good.
In the mood for a hearty breakfast with an old school store. This Bendemeer Prawn Mee ($5) is satisfying as hell. Aside from the generous portion, the broth tastes old school, reminding me of other prawn noodles I had when I was younger.

Few pieces of soft fish maw, two regular size prawns and few pieces of sliced fish meat.
Brownish HorFun, broad flat rice noodle, with the egg-streaks sauce was enhanced by the deep fried pork lard and sliced green chilli.

The store owner is really generous with portion of prawns and pork ribs ($4). In addition, the soup is delicious, the broth is delicate and flavourful at the same time.
I love how it doesn’t leave you feeling tasty, if you know what i mean after having food rich in MSG. The prawns are fresh and the pork ribs as well.
