Cake was soft n fluffy. But flavour doesnt comes off strong.

Whoever baked this sure wasn't light handed with their dose of rum. Think this one of their strongest flavoured bakes. As usual good fluffy chiffon, not as sweet ganache. My go-to bakery for all birthday.

Had their limited time hojicha yuzu cake. Was glad that I ordered this. Cake overall wasn't that sweet (as per their usual less sweet), hojicha was very gao, rich and earthy but together with their slightly sweet n tangy yuzu everything came off perfectly amicable.

Udon texture was great for both the miso carborana n yakiniku. Pork tat came with the carborana was very soft n tender. But even for someone who loves fatty pork belly, it gets abit jerlat when I only have half a slice. Sauce was great but a tad too salty for me maybe cos it's miso? The soup Udon was great thou, lots beef n other sides. Can skip the mushrooms in garlicky oyster sauce. It's way way salty n portion is really small for the price.
Had a ice green tea n yuzu honey as well. Ard $56 for 2 pax.
Came before 5.30pm n there's no queue on normal weekday. By the time we left an hr later there was a small snake queue.
Oh and not sure why but there's fly flying ard.

Came for birthday celebration with colleagues. Not much crowd at 12 plus but more pple coming in by end of our meal. Food overall taste great and fresh, it was good tat every dishes had got their own unique flavours. Dishes were light n refreshing n suites everyone's palate. But personal view, the strapponi pasta was abit too soft, no bite to it. N yes I know it's a fresh pasta n it's like that. Sauce was great thou.
Paid $344 for 7 pax including drinks.

Food was good, esp enjoyed the frog porridge. Came early and we got seats upstairs. Was fully seated after 6pm with lotsa families.

Order in for 3 pax. Food came in decently pack. Loves the 生煎包 it was crispy on the outside n oozing with soup with every bites. The 糯米烧麦was also good. Noodle texture was nice as well. 抄手was huggggeeee. Braised duck n cutlet was so so for me. The Mushroom面筋a tad too sweet maybe just not used to that taste. Overall will go again just for the 生煎包.

Pls try their beef broth Mala Tang. I had their medium spicy one with beef broth. Slurped up all the soup. It's that good. The color is milk white and not dark clear soup that I seen from lotsa stalls outside. Ard $13 for this takeaway portion in their very aesthetic packaging. Recommends to my colleagues n everyone can't stop raving about it.
Oh, and on a side note. I do think beef broth taste better than the pork broth.

Ordered their seasalt caramel chocolate cake. Was nice, very nice in fact. Cake was super fudgy and who don't like a sweet and savoury concoction...

Fook Kin on a Friday night. There's still available seats when we left before 8pm.
2nd time I was there, Char Siew was good as ever. Slight crisp tender meat with lotsa fats. Herbal Duck was a tad dry. Roast pork was crispy and thats it. Nothing special for the Curry Maggi mee. Overall meh, won't be back if I'm not ard the area. Ard $72 for quarter herbal duck, roast pork & char view combi, curry instant noodle w roast pork n a mineral water.

Used to be only at Arab St but now it's popping up everywhere. This the only brunch I've seen that's not crowded, guess not many knew bout this new location.
For someone who don't eat rice, I always ordered their 3 in 1 麻油鸡饭, 卤肉饭 and Oyster Mee Sua set. They might look plain n simple but 真的很够味. We also ordered some sides which was alright. We came ard 5pm on a weekday n there wasn't any other patrons at all. Price wise always very pocket-friendly.

Very Ang Mo cake texture which is more dense. Still good and a nice change from the usual light fluffy cake which we always had. Very Varlhona white chocolate and Macademia and can get abit jelat overtime. Buttttt, the refreshing sourish sweet raspberry compote makes everything a good balance. $124.80 for an 8inch cake with free delivery.
