Top - Butter pork ribs (medium size=8 pcs)
Bottom left - 3egg spinach
Bottom right - Drunken cockles
Not in picture - Tofu with golden mushroom, 2 bowls of rice. Total cost $38

Third visit this time. Must order their butter pork ribs and 3egg spinach. The pork ribs are generousy covered with milk powder. Spinach was cooked till the right texture - soft and chewy. Druken cockles was a new dish attempt for us - precooked cockles refrigerated then added with garlic, chilli padi and other condiments (ps it does not have strong alcohol taste although it is name as drunken). Another new dish attempt is tofu with golden mushroom- a puny salty though..

Set F Bostock with Coffee: $3.50
Top right- Chocolate long cupcake: $1.60
Bottom right- Rum ball: $2.60

For the old school lovers and for thpse who loves to dip their cakes into their coffee or milo. A pity for the coffee wasnt very strong and rich enuff to compliment the cakes.
Chocolate long cupcake (dry sponge cake) is definitely meant for dip in the coffee-relatively dry to have it on its own.
Rum ball really has tint of alcohol in it (and my guess some peaut butter and coconut)
Bostock is a lover - crispy butter toast with butter flakes.

Got my appetite fix again! Got wowed with their octupus wild rice. The octupus is well-cooked and very succulent. It will gain my five star rate if the portion goes abit bigger. Then again it saves space for my dessert- Lemon Meringue Cake. Then again, I think the dessert was abit diff from what I had previously. The cake was less delicate then before. Oh the beef lasagna is good too!

5thDec2015: Trying to find sth special to eat in the west aside from going to shopping mall to dine when I chance upon The Usual Place on burpple. Basically both of us were attracted by the salted egg prawn pasta. Ordered the soy chicken and yuzu mint tea as well. The salted egg prawn pasta, like most reviews, it was quite diluted but the chef is really generous in the prawn. Really big and juicy. The soy chicken kind of make it with the sauce. It tasted somewhat like honey glazed chicked with the soysauce but I guess the chicken portion could be bigger. Oh but i have to say I am disappointed with the yuzu mint tea. It was not the Japanese Yuzu but the korean version that was more towards the orangy flavour.

Dare you to poke it with ur fork!!! Then again once you start ur first move you wouldnt want to stop! Really beautiful delicate pieces. The atmosphere was great to really sit down and savour them. Be reminded to taste them slowly, make sure every part of ur mouth is tainted with the eclair before you swallow!!!

Something different for the tastebud! Pannbiff comes with two well cooked beef patty, it doesnt flake off and still has that tangy chewy feeling. Love the mashed potato, not the very fine kind.
Tanabrodsrulle (this spelling might be off) is saussage wrap with ketchup and pickle, super filling!

Kekou mian is hidden amongst the fanciful signboard. So if you are looking for it, serach for the porridge stall! And they are closed on thurs too!

Again the need to satisfy my sweet tooth, chance upon this quiet cafe. The velvet sundae totally nail it. Layered with cake, vanilla ice cream, cream cheese, and to top it off sprinkles of morning cereal, perfect!

L'Opera, Yuzu Tart, together with ice chocolate and hot mocha, at a nice ambience cafe is best way to end the night. The Yuzu Tart is super refreshing *thumbs up*
The rest were less impressed.
Cafe provides lunch and menu too. May come back for the mains ;)

Super delicious and affordable cake! $5.50 each! Went late not much variety, going back again for more next time!
