Crepe brûlée was a bit heavy on the eggs, the vanilla wasn't really discernible though there are specks of vanilla beans in it. Wasn't sweet at all, all down to preference I think, but I would have liked mine to be sweeter. Waffles were as good as before, if only a little too airy. I like the texture of gelato here, standout flavours are moscato, hazelnut coffee and toasted pistachio!

A delightful Japanese sundae with all the requisites. I opted for the vanilla flavour as I'd also ordered a matcha roll cake, and was very happy with it 😊 Will be returning to try their other items for sure. Nothing like a pleasant experience to motivate more visits.
PS. Yes, I know there is a typo in the pic but pardon me, I'm just too lazy to redo the text 😁

I didn't find the green tea flavour in the cake to be particularly strong. Nevertheless, it was still good especially with that fresh cream core, and accompanying red bean paste topped with sweet light cream.

Probably the most famous place to get murtabak in Singapore, this century-old restaurant serves up some massive murtabaks. Adding an extra kosong prata at the base and additional minced mutton on top, this murtabak needs to be shared (or not, if you're a big eater). Go for the chicken, full flavoured, well-spiced and tender, or the deer if you're adventurous! If you're sharing, go ahead and order some briyani too. Photo by edwyn c.

Tonight is simply delish, full-blown peppery soup that is perfect for late night wake-up. The prime meat, is tender. And the stomach slices are well cooked and most importantly cleaned (or else the stomach will give off a smell, if not clean thoroughly)!! The intestines are a tad hard for my liking but overall, it's a great place for supper. || Price: S$26.10

There are almost as many "orh luak" or fried oyster stalls at this food centre as there are oysters in the sea nearby. Ok, that may be a bit of an exaggeration :) Nevertheless, it doesn't matter how many of them there are, because for me, it has to be Song Kee. Theirs is perfectly fried every single time with just the right balance of egg, starch and oysters. It goes without saying they also happen to have the perfect vinegary chilli sauce.

Known as the best Ba Chor Mee (BCM) aka minced meat noodles, this hits the right spot when one needs some warming up on a cold & chilly day! The tangy meatballs are juicy & just right followed with slurping good soup!

Ordered oyster omelette 蚝蛋 too. Not the best but one of the better ones I had tasted.
