Second stop today is to meet the folks from Sunday Folks on a Sunday. It's best to eat ice cream when the weather is cold. The Waffles with Earl Grey Lavender Ice Cream ($8.80) is officially one of my favorites now.
Compliments from the boss, thank you ☺️ -
Are you looking for a place with affordable high tea? O'Coffee Club does it! More details on www.jacqsowhat.com
The desserts at @flock_sg are made by a Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef, which explains why this lemon curd tart is a perfect balance of sour and sweet. Also, the crust is sweet, crisp and golden (pun intended).
My sweet ending to my lunch, well infused earl grey creme brulee. Really good!
A must order is their steamed dumplings ($7) drizzled with sesame oil and tamari beacuse it's just packed with so much flavour. And for a more value-for-money option, go for their brown rice set ($8.80) served with different side dishes depending on what the chef decides to cook that day! You'll be in for a surprise because you'll never quite know what to expect. Service might take some time because all dishes are made to order but the wait is definitely worth it!
Can see why this is best seller. The fillings used to make the 'meat' were assortments of mushrooms and carrots - this really taste yummy. Recommend to try and likely to convert meat eaters.👍👍👍
Our mains, Crab Risotto and Pollo Allo were good too! TGIF!! ^^ #fatliceeats #tgif
Crisp on the top and moist on the inside - the steaming hot dessert was perfect with the cold berry ice cream. Tone down a lil on the sugar and it'd be perfect 😍
Laid back dessert cafe.sinful. Quaint place to have a catch up session with your friends
I've heard many raving reviews of this French toast! It's not bad - soft fluffy toast completely soaked through with egg and milk. I would have liked it to be more crisp on the outside, and the maple syrup didn't have the nice fragrance that high quality maple syrups do so that's another gripe I have. Toby's French toast remains my fave.
By naming the restaurant Kimchi, they better serve some badass kimchi and they definitely lived up to their reputation. Go for a bubbling pot of the tangy and spicy Kimchi Jjijae ($12.90) to have the perfect balance against the blistering cold aircon. I will crave for this kimchi soup next time whenever it's raining.
