πŸ€”: Meat was slightly tough, but marinade was good. Liked that there were mushrooms in the bowl too. Generous portion of rice, although that meant that the ingredients to rice ratio was slightly off.

πŸ€”: Unagi was plump and marinade was delicious. A slightly cheaper alternative if you are craving for eel! Didn't mind any bones either which was pleasantly surprising.

Meat were all well seasoned and deep flavoured topped over steamed Japanese rice.
Pork was very tender and soft which made chewing it easy.
Unagi was soft and kind of melts in mouth and the beef had a really good fat ratio to it.
Probably one of the best aburi place I’ve come across.

Bought the Unagi and Iberico Pork Bowl (i think it was a seasonal promotion) and absolutely loved it! The iberico pork was tender despite having a low percentage of fat and the umami flavor was brought out with the intense grilling, with a subtle charred, bitter flavor! The unagi, with a firm texture, was surprisingly good too for the price

Premium Sukiyaki Wagyu Don (S$24++)

Tender flavorful meat but kind of painful on the pocket with just 3 extremely thin slices of meat.

I like the tentacles which were slightly crispy. The charcoal flavour is infused in the squid but parts of it may be slightly burnt (explains the cut off tips). Portion for the dons are on the small side for most. Chicken nanban was sufficiently filling although it would be wise to share else it is quite jelat.
