A plate that truly lived up to its name! Caved into my chocolate cravings, and ordered this chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and berry reduction- a combination that can do no wrong. My belly was satisfied with the richness of the heated chocolate, creaminess from the ice cream and the tangy berry sauce. To be able to dine amongst the chic ambience the alley bat definitely added to the experience.

Nonetheless, I did feel that the brownie could do with a little more texture, as the mouse-like layer was a little one-dimensional after a while. But I have no regrets as this classic sugar-nudge was still the best way to unwind the way, especially when slowly savored with a glass of prosecco and night of good conversation.

Churros have been one of my favorite treat since childhood, so needless to say, resistance was futile when I saw it on the menu despite being in a bar. So I ordered it with zero expectations.

To my surprise, i was really impressed with how chewy the insides of the churros were. They were exactly how a perfect churro should be - crunchy and crispy on the outside and a little soft, but not doughy, on the inside. Loved the amount of cinnamon sugar you get from the ridged surface. And it’s even better when you dunk it into the chocolate sauce!

Standard drink, but I really love the design of this place! Like the name suggests, the interior depicted a scene from an alley; look up and there are even shophouse windows to capture the feel! A pity that it was too dark for me to capture the beautiful interior, but this is a very lovely place to kick back and unwind if not for the ambience alone.

Classy and upmarket but still with a comfortable feel. Generous happy hour daily until 9pm. $6 house pours, $9.90 martini of the day and beer deals. Perfect for a sneaky after work drink!

I don't know, you guys. On paper, spam fries sounds like pure genius. But I went ahead and tried it, and it was just too hearty for something that's supposed to be finger food. I kept looking for rice to go with it. It felt like I was eating a loreral block of spam - although to be fair, it was a lot less oiy than if you fried or baked it at home.

So maybe if it was cut into shoestrings?

Juicy, tender beef. Great food, atmosphere and value for money. Will be back for more.
