Chill vibes, dishes come in big portions. This is the seafood platter but what’s unique is that I think they laid a bed of taro mash at the bottom? Anyway it goes really well with the seafood and in fact I dipped it with other dishes like fries, chicken cutlet etc

Ribs is my Favourite so I have high expectation whenever I order them. This iteration from badoque didn't disappoint me. There ribs even though a teeny bit overcook it still taste great . Serving is quite generous. The bread surprisingly tasty when dip with the side of mashed creamy blended potatoes. Sgd $24 ( I think, 🤣 can't remember the exact price)
Hot water is charged $1.00 served with slice of lemon.

A must-have appetiser from Badoque is this Chili Chombis. What's hidden beneath these breaded nuggets is jalapeños with cream cheese and spices, giving you that kick before you get your main course. Pop it in your mouth before it turns cold, and unless you love jalapeños to the max, I will not advise you to finish the whole thing on your own.

Thank goodness I have got my water ready for this.

A giant slab of beef ribs with accompanying sides such as potato wedges (they were crispy), sunny side up, salad, peas, and toasted bread - this is so value for money.
🔸
The beef ribs were glazed with thick barbecue sauce, slightly savoury and sweet, cooked till medium well to well done. It might be better to undercook it so that it's more tender, but the juicy gelatinous fats all around the beef made up for it.
🔸
Still a recommended dish given its value. During lunch, profiteroles is complimentary. It's a cream puff filled with chocolate ice cream and glazed with a hardened layer of white chocolate.

Everything on this dish was well spiced. Gran grant spiced rice. Lamb was marinated well and the meat was tender. Pretty big portion too!

Grilled perfectly well as requested which was medium. Reasonable price for a good portion of quality steak and side dishes that came along with it.

This fiery chicken wings marinated in the house sauce, are so devilishly hot, I have to ask for forgiveness...

Almost as long as my forearm, the tender and moist beef ribs are glazed in a delicious tangy, savoury sweet American barbecue style sauce. Shiok!

Wanted the Tomahawk Steak but it wasn't ready when we arrived, so got this lovely giant size beef ribs, marinated in savoury sweet Indonesian kecap manis. Super tender, the meat fell off the bone... literally.

A spicy Aglio Olio with lots of baby clams. Belly nice. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 November 23

Here is a large fillet of salmon, with crisp skin and tender, moist pink flesh that flakes off nicely.

Sides of beans, carrots, roasted baby potatoes and a quarter pumpkin! Topped with a tangy sun-dried tomato pesto.

Can't finish their giant size portions though.

For $12.50, my bf and i are able to share these jalapeno cheese poppers (i don't remember the exact name). Filled with mozarella cheese, this dish is serve with a special sauce and will have you addicted. Also, the size of each poppers are not pathetic size, so be sure you'll kickstart your meal in the best way ☆☆☆☆☆

Black-inked (or squid inked) pasta cooked aglio olio style! Basically a pasta dish filled with generous amount of baby octopuses and also tomatoes. However, the serving portion was huge and i didn't finish my dish but it was worth the bucks! This costs $19. ☆☆☆☆

Date Shake ($9.50)
A new twist date milkshake with palm sugar, topped with whipped cream. Drink of the week.
Available at @BadoqueCafe

Thick and rich with flavours of palm sugar and bits of dates but not too sweet.

Absolutely spicy fried chicken in town. Needed to scrape away the chilli seeds if not I'll burn up, really tasty worth a try for spicy lovers. If you're ordering spicy fried chicken wings do also consider paring with lychee soda👍🏼 Overall for there the portions are really huge advise to share with friends or partner a little pricy thou. 7/10

If the the outlet at Simpang Bedok is not convenient, you can always go the the outlet at Upper Thomson. Badoque is a halal-certified restaurant so Muslims can dine with a peace of mind. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg

I think this tops the charts for most sinful drink ever. Tastes like a jar of melted salted caramel ice cream! This was good. (And I don't even like salted caramel!)

Beef and pasta with fresh basil and cheese in tomato sauce
