Crackling skin with thin tender meat beneath it, paired up with sauce provided. Awesome & delicious!
Avaliable in set menu, generous ingredients in a pot that you should definitely not miss! Very shiok!
Steamed Pomfret was fresh and had a mild sour taste in the residue due to the preserve vegetable. Great choice order and to share with families!
Meticulously shaped chicken breast meat, similar to flying wings. Chicken were slightly dry but the crackers were definitely a crowd favourite!
One of the prosperity dish to order this CNY, with mian xian representing prosperity, each strands represents long and healthy life. 😊
Experience the feel of being pampered with double boiled bird nest and peach gum.
+More info: "Peach gum is the resin from peach and Chinese wild peach trees, already solidified when it is found"
they are having a promotion of 3 paying pax free 1 pax. total up to about $23 per pax after gst and service charge. feel kinda cheated when they charged us chinese tea, snacks and wet towels for $8 when we didn't ask for it :-( but they did have free bubble tea and cold bean curd for dining pax on first come first serve basis.
decent variety and price! they had a mini buffet counter aside from those made to order dishes on the menu. :-)
Decided to go here with friends because of the "1 person dines free for every 3 people" promo I saw floating around Facebook. Sadly, it was totally not worth it and I won't ever come back.
The steamed dimsum was quite subpar and took a long time to arrive - we waited 20 minutes for only 2 baskets and had to prompt the waiter. The xiao long bao (as pictured), was really just a meat wanton, because it was so shrivelled up and dry that I think there's no way there could have ever been soup in there in the first place.
Otherwise, the fried stuff was pretty good, but all you do for that is throw premade ingredients into a fryer so I guess that sums it up.
Dimsum were sub-par and service wasn't great (except a few commendable waiters), but for $22.80++ on weekends with 1 free diner for every 3 paying adults, this is value-for-money if you just want a simple dimsum fix. There is also a self-service counter of fried rice, congee, noodles, deep fried items and desserts which were of average quality as well. Some of the notable dishes include the siew mai, prawn wrapped in beancurd skin (both fried and steamed), and char siew yam puff.
I have been here not once, not twice but thrice for the dimsum buffet but was really shocked by the atmosphere. It was really noisy and packed i remember sitting near the back door of the entire hall and it was so crampy! the stage at the front had like church event going on and the next door had wedding going on. I felt that if they have events going on they shouldnt have opened up to the public! on the other hand, the food is good (but the standard drop maybe because of the overwhelming events) but the service was soooooooo slow at the start we had to wait so long :(
No consistency cuz there will be different surprises that we get everytime we come.. LOL! .
