Glad I gave them another chance. Turns out they're just inconsistent, not lousy

Siobak was quite decent today, and their char siew is not the super tender kind but it's got a nice fatty bite

Very decent

Eggplant, bittergourd, curry veggies
Pretty standard

Yeah its not much better when i had it in house. The Siobak skin was Thin and crispy tho

The Chinese garden one was vastly better. The flavour profiles are the same, meaning they use the same recipe. But the texture of the meats are very different. This doesn't have the candy chew on the char siew, and the skin wasn't crispy either on the siobak

At least the soup was decent last time

Got the lotus pork soup, it's very good. Full of umami from the dried cuttlefish
