Sourdough waffles w whiskey Crancherry n Kyoto Hojicha. Flavours of ice cream are very strong. Satisfying~

Wheat milk gelato was interesting, tasted like oats, with some sticky bits in an overall dense gelato. If you like milky ice cream flavours and want to give something different a go, this might be a good one to try.

Niu Year Cheesecake was not too bad, the strawberry cheesecake taste was smooth and not too sweet. A safe flavour. The texture of the gelato was also very dense and sticky, similar to the wheat milk one, which could be good or bad according to your personal preference.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and could easily find seats for two. The cafe is relatively quiet which was nice and peaceful.

Tried a few flavor of their ice cream (niu yr cheesecake πŸ‘πŸ» earl grey lavender (too strong taste ) , whisky cranberry πŸ‘πŸ» and pi pa gao milk tea (too strong taste)
Will give their green tea ice cream with waffle a try next time.

sourdough waffles were light and airy which would be gd if you're having this as dessert after a meal!

wheat milk ice cream was interesting, tasted a bit like horlicks but lighter! matched well with the waffles imo πŸ™‚

black sesame ice cream was VERY VERY strong, it tasted like black sesame puree haha. good if you're a sesame lover but I probably won't get this again, made my throat feel a little icky because of how strong the sesame taste was 😬 suggestion not to get these 2 flavors together because I couldn't really taste the wheat milk ahaha

heard good things about this place but wasn't too impressed by my first visit, but very affordable compared to other ice cream places so I'll come back to try other flavors!

The outer layer of waffles very crispy with soft and airy interior, while the flavour for the gelato was black sesame and whisky crancherry.
The texture of gelato was smooth, and we all prefer the whisky crancherry over the black sesame, it got a kick of alcohol πŸ˜†.

the sweet pumpkin pie is a seasonal item which definitely gave off halloween vibes with its bright orange color. the texture of the ice cream was on the denser and thicker side & the taste and smell of spice and cinnamon was v v pronounced, regretfully overshadowing the little hint of pumpkin the ice cream had.

the houjicha on the other hand had a lighter and more watery texture. the distinct bitterness of the houjicha was complimented by a slight sweetness. overall we found the taste of tea to be a tad diluted but it was still pretty enjoyable.

the sour dough waffle had a slight sourness which was a little confusing at first, but you would eventually connect it with the taste of sourdough bread then it started making sense & became so so good. it had a chewy and soft inside with a slightly crispy exterior & i strongly believe that’s the best texture a waffle can ever have (tappy begs to differ though). as much as i loved it, the strong flavor in the waffle somewhat overshadowed the flavors of the ice cream when eaten tgt. we’ll probs get an ice cream that’s more intense in flavor the next time we’re back.
