𝐇𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 ($3.80) - Generously filled with red bean and mochi, we enjoyed the natural-tasting (not too sweet) flavour. Only feedback was that the bread was on the drier side.

👍🏼 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 ($3.20) - While the amount of fillings initially looked dismal, the rich seafood flavours shone through and was a good pair with the light and airy bread. Also enjoyed the balance of savory and creamy cheese for a deeper flavour profile.

𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐚 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐟 ($5.50/half) - A sweeter and moist bread from the white chocolate with plentiful crunchy macadamia nuts within.

𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐧 ($5.80/4) - Flavourful bread with a good mix of spices and raisins. Would recommend heating it up in the oven > microwave for an airier, slightly chewy interior and crisp edges.

👍🏼 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭 ($3.20) - Straightforward and well-executed croissant with an airy interior and crispy, flaky lamination.

Soft and sweet Karuizawa bread infused with strawberry bits 》$2.80

Ahh the super famous (and super expensive) Matcha Lava Cube from Asanoya! Finally decided to get it since I had a voucher. Here are my thoughts:

The matcha filling is EXCEPTIONAL. It's seriously SO GOOOOOD, nicely sweet with a white chocolate, kinda milky flavour to it while still retaining a pretty strong matcha taste. The bread is soft and chewy, really good!

However $4.20 for such a small bread is definitely a super hefty price. This is one of the most expensive breads I've bought. I think that taste-wise, it's quite comparable to Donq's and St Leaven's, which are bigger and also cheaper. I'd rather get those again than this.

However I'm def super impressed by this bun and I'd gladly try Asanoya's lava breads again!

I just want to post it before I forgot so like I didn't expected that the matcha lava cube ($4.20) was not that nice tbh like it's quite normal sia for me. I didn't know that dark bits inside Matcha Sauce (3.5/5) so I decided to passby Paragon after maker market last weekend. I want to grab some matcha before I forgot that. I like their Matcha Donuts ($3.20) tbh. I really like soft and fluffly texture plus their matcha sauce pumped inside the Donuts 💚💚💚 (4.5/5) matcha sauce was so shiok and good that I did literally cut it up and oozed it off from Donuts.
