Medium size here is generous and quite cheap. The veg broth was half the box's height and the chicken was a mound. We hadn't encountered this chicken dish but it tasted similar to kam heong. Full of spices like garlic and ginger. It's like just whack all Chinese spices lor.
The rib meat was inconsistent and the coffee flavour was non-existent. But I loved the sotong. It's bite-sized and very soft, pairing well with the coating.
A common dish at zichar stalls but here the tofu is steamed with no skin. Bland until almost fail, until I tasted the topping. I think it's fried chye por and ba chor. Damn umami sia.
Very long never eat here. New-ish stall. One of the stallholders is nice, unlike many shaola stalls. Both types of meat had a good balance of lean and fat.
Anyhow order, anyhow eat. Really ordinary.
