Como Cuisine is a lovely place.. beautifully decorated and having great service. Had the Rhubarb and Lychee trifle ..it had the right combination of tartness and sweetness to wakeup any sleeping tastebud. Rhubarb is quite hard to work with and this trifle was done to perfection. A close contender was the almond cake with raspberry coulis, rich in its almond sugee taste with the coulis that tasted like yummy concentrated ribena. Chairs were super comfortable too

Reminded me of a recreated/enhanced version of the lime/vanilla solero split popsicle of my childhood. Thin layers of butterfly pea flower ice with lightly flavored pineapple ice cream in the middle, accompanied by pineapple chunks and lemongrass ice. Pretty to look at!

This plate of cauliflower salad was found on almost every table today. Really loved the texture of everything put together, the cauliflower, the kale the sauces and it was a very appetizing starter!

Had the lobster roll too but nothing much to shout about in terms of price, taste nor portion. The chips were also extremely salty.

Having said that, I may still return to como for bunch menu (which many seem to rave about) and it is no doubt a pretty place and service was also good.

The attentive service is the best thing at this place. We went for lunch, and because it was a public holiday, only had the brunch menu, with limited choices. In terms of quality, the food is not bad, but certainly not memorable. We’ve all had much better versions of the dishes we ordered - burger, lobster roll, spiced lentils, kale salad, scotch egg, etc - at lower prices too! Dempsey Cookhouse is definitely better!

Can’t wait to uncover COMO Cuisine‘s kitchen secrets in this educational cooking demonstration on oils. I’ve also learn how each ingredient benefits and advice on the preparations and combinations that are best absorbed by the body. At the end of this masterclass, we also get to enjoy a private luncheon at COMO Cuisine. The masterclass on oil marks the last session in 2018. Hopefully there’s more masterclasses in 2019😋
