You can choose the type of chili that you want to go with their smashed fried chicken here, choosing from either the sambal belado, sambal rica, green chilli or sambal bawang.

I do find their smashed fried chicken was a bit too dry.

I think many might find it weird why I ordered my Ayam Geprek ($8) with cheese instead of having it with their chilli, but you really get the best of worlds doing so! Just ask for their wonderful homemade chilli by the side and you have yourself a satisfying cheesy, spicy, flavourful fried chicken to go with your rice 😍 really nothing much to complain about especially when it's also pretty cheap knowing that it's in the town area!

Was craving ayam penyet and happened to be in town so decided to head here to satisfy my cravings! The ayam penyet here was solid! Crispy, juicy and tender chicken thigh with 5 types of chilli to choose from. I got the belado which was so shiok and fiery! Fried beancurd on the side was so good too! Will be back again definitely!

Came here cuz the Google reviews looked really good. Was unfortunately rather disappointed by the food 😟

The Tahu Telur ($6.90) is tiny, one person portion, and comes with a side of peanut sauce that is not very punchy. The Ayam Bakar ($8) is not very tender but the chilli that comes with it has a good spicy kick. Also ordered the dancing fish ($12.90), which I think is really cheap for a whole fish!

I guess it’s ok for “fast food” and I’d consider it on the cheaper side as well, for Indon food.

No more Fave deal to use for this place but falling in love with their chilli, we are back here again anyway.🌶🌶

On your right hand is “Ayam Rica” ($7.50) As we find out that Rica means chili in North Sulawesi language. Ayam is chicken as you know. It is a pleasant spicy taste unlike other Sambals we try. We think that maybe they don’t use belachan in this rica type. Any Chef here wanna DM us on IG for this? 🤔
.
The top dish is “Bebek Sambal Ijo” ($10.50). The duck has crispy skin with juicy meat topped with green chilli. You simply have to try this dish. 😉Each dish has 2 tofus, colourful prawn crackers, Nasi Putih (rice) $1 each.

P.S. no GST and service charge

We didn’t expect much when we step into this restaurant as the deco looks like a mash up between high Street Food joint & a retro bistro. It’s a real treat to get the order just right! 👌
🔹 Spicy crispy chicken ✅ “Ayam Penyet” $7.50
🔹 Bebek Sambal ✅ $10.50
🔹Teh tarik $2.50
🔹Nasi Putih $2.0

The chilli accompanying the mains (red chilli for chicken, green chilli for duck) are superb especially the red one for classic Ayam Penyet. The Bebek (duck) skin might not be crispy as we like but the overall taste is really power! ☄️
We even ask if we can buy their chilli back home! 😋🌶
