Very loosely packed and incredibly juicy. It's full of umami too. Superb stuff

They got some weird prices man wth

The filling was intense but abit oily. Exterior was crispy and the texture after being soaked in the custard was v dense, slightly sticky and chewy, with a lot of bite. I feel like it's then closer to some kinds of Kueh more than bun

This was featured as the chef's recommendation & I can see why! Unlike its siblings, this version of CCF 猪肠粉 has an additional layer of a crispy shell which gives you an added texture to the usual silky rolls.

The shrimp is first wrapped in a thin crispy layer, deep fried, then rolled into the silky rolls. The best part, although it's been steamed, the crispy layer remains crisp throughout even after being doused in the soy sauce.

This is my next go-to when I visit again! It's so so good.

I was introduced to Mee Sua Kueh at another dim sum store (just down the road) many moons ago & have not tried any other stores that sold it till I came to Dim Sum Haus.

If you've not had MSK, it's basically deep fried mee sua with shredded carrots & in this case, chinese sausage aka lap cheong. The Dim Sum Haus version is surprisingly much better with its soft interior & crunchy exterior. The lap cheong also added a nice savoury twist to it, which allowed for another dimension!

Another option to get if you're using #burpplebeyond!

First visit to Dim Sum Haus & the entire experience was delightful! Although they were quite a small outlet, it was buzzing with self-collection orders, delivery orders & walk-ins! Amidst it all, the staff were still diligently checking everyone's vaxx status & safe entry, so kudos to you guys!

That aside, the food was pretty dope as well! We tried the basics of all dim sum which includes their siew mai. I must say, this siew mai was pretty good for its price. The pipping hot dumplings are generously filled with minced steamed pork, shrimp & cloud-like egg white which allowed the fillings to be light & fluffy! Each bite was so soft & flavourful, it set itself apart from many other siew mais that I have had elsewhere.

If you're on #burpplebeyond, you also get a 1 for 1 for Steamed items & you can count this as one of the items!

Times are now tough for our local F&B businesses. This was a throwback to September 2021 when we could still dine-in as a group of 4-5 pax. Went on a Saturday and the place was packed! Make sure you call in to reserve/ book-online your table at Dim Sum Haus. Loved their XO Fried Carrot Cake and Lotus Leaf-Wrapped Glutinous Rice (荷叶饭). Congee and Dumplings w/ soup (水饺汤).
