Macademia nut tart which I wanted to try from #dripsbakery for the longessttttt time (but the past 3 times when we were here we always got the fruit berries tart becoz of the sugar app). But sadly I couldn't eat much of the macademia nut or crust today because my sore throat is still here (shoo, sore throat pls go away by next Fri. I want to eat all the food I want in Penang the following week :/) #burpple #burpplesg

When you see that the café scene at Tiong Bahru so overcrowding, you know that they need to have some specialty to stand out. Drips Bakery Café specialises in tarts, but they also serve many delightful savoury, sweets and coffee. I prefer their tarts with fruit toppings, especially this Mixed Berry Tart that is not only oh-so photogenic, but also goes well with a cup of latté. Try to go early to secure the cosy seats at the deep inside of the café for great natural lighting!

Amazing fruit tart that is decorated with many raspberry and blackberries, its well worth the price with so much expensive berries given. The tart base is wonderful too and custard is not too sweet which is to my liking. The custard goes well with the sour berries giving it a balanced taste:) Well definitely be back again

But here's the seasonal fruit tart: blackberry + strawberry ($8.80) from #dripsbakery to counter that gloom.
To me, Drips still serves the best tarts!

The seasonal fruit tart ($8.80) may sound on the high side but look at the amount of raspberries and blackberries on the custard filled tart base.
