Korean-style barbecues are known to be pricey fare, but Duk Soo Ne proves otherwise. The no-frills restaurant prides itself on its two-hour BBQ buffet — at only RM35.90 per person, it is a steal. While beef and chicken do make an appearance, the star of this show is the pork in various variations, including the must-order pork belly and marinated spare ribs. Opt to have your meat marinated or otherwise, and we say, let them do the dirty work. You, sit back and enjoy watching thick strips of meat sizzle on the hot plate. Being a Korean establishment, banchan (side dishes) is a requisite and despite the lack of choices here, they do serve a mean kimchi — the perfect partner for your smoky grills. Dessert is a range of local ice cream potong that does help quell the heat, besides being adorably nostalgic. Bring your hungry partner to this hotspot!

What Duk Soo Ne lacks in decor, they make up for with their affordable prices, like the two-hour BBQ buffet for RM35.90 per person. There's something for both flavour junkies and meat purists. You can choose to have your meat well-marinated or simply as it is — the charcoal grill will give it a good smoky flavour. Dive straight for the thick and tasty slices of pork belly and marinated beef. In the buffet line, you'll also find an assortment of banchan (side dishes), soup and tteokbboki (rice cakes) to munch on as your meat cooks. Burppler Tiffany commends the staff for the attentive service that buffets typically lack — they'll be quick to change the hot plate once char begins to form.

With carnivores in mind, Duk Soo Ne is a Korean-style BBQ with a selection of both marinated and non-marinated meat. What's great about this place is that you get to grill your meat over charcoal and flame, not the electric griddles that's often used. Set in a casual vibe, the slices of meat were generally thick and fat. Loved their service as they changed the hot plate once it chars.

They also serve unlimited banchan, soup and tteokbokki. However, as we were probably the last batch of customers, no refills were done so we did not manage to try the tteokbokki and soup.

It's RM35.90 per pax excluding GST with a dining time of 2 hours. There are additional charges for wastage and remember to book a table for Friday/Saturday nights!

This restaurant has great quality food for a good price (RM35.9 excluding GST for 2 hour dining limit) in Solaris. The place cooks its meat over lump charcoal, imbuing it with smoky savor. Pork belly is the highlight for any Korean BBQ; thick slices of unsmoked bacon that's mainly fat. The marinade doesn’t totally overwhelm the meat. Two thumbs up!

For Korean BBQ which usually cost around RM40 and above, this was at RM35.90 per person unlimited amount of food. For meat lovers, their marinated beef is super lit. Value for money all you can eat especially if you're super hungry!

It's been awhile since I had my korean fix and we all know that the best place to get anything korean will definitely be at solaris. I decided to try out duk soo ne's all you can eat korean barbecue (RM 38.05 per person). My verdict is that this place is a go! I loved the pork and beef selection the most and although the sides selection were limited, they did serve some pretty good kimchi! The staffs were pretty attentive and also this place is super easy to find, located opposite cold storage!
