i chose β€œvery hard” for noodle texture and β€œlight” for the broth! 🍜 i would recommend to go normal for the broth because i feel the bowl lacked the thick meaty tonkatsu flavour i was looking for:(

really didnt enjoy the addition of the mentaiko. while it lended a very mild seafoody taste, the mentaiko could hardly be tasted and mostly added a incompatible spiciness that deviated from the japanese taste that i sought. the soup was thick and coated my tongue, unfortunately it didnt match what i look for :(

the noodles were quite nice - silky with a slight bite; but i can hardly imagine getting any lower than β€œvery hard” for noodle texture. the egg was pretty disappointing and inconsistent! across the table, there were plenty with molten yolks; unfortunately, mine wasn’t one of them πŸ₯Ί definitely overcooked and bordering on hardboiled.

the pork was cut thin, tender and tasty though yumyum! recommend going for the tonkatsu broth (normal) instead, really much tastier and satisfying!

price: $14.50

didn’t want to overestimate my spice tolerance so i got a lvl 2 out of the 4 lvls🀭🌢 β€” would say it’s comfortable!!! if u rly want a KICK then lvl 3&4 wld be shiok! πŸ‘„ the broth was really creamy and smooth,, but definitely on the oily side!😳 pretty heavy broth so i didn’t finish it! on the other hand, if u love extra thin ramen noodles, this is the place!!! since we got to choose our ramen texture, i got hard (it softens aft a while so it wld be just nice by then!) MMMM IT WAS GOOD! pretty similar to ichiran type ramen (if you have tried that), since they are all hakata style ramen!🍜🍜🍜 chashu was super tender and soft so πŸ˜‹

this place don’t do reservations so if you wna try, go early!!! i went there at around 7.30pm and man it was a 20-30 mins wait? 🀭

Let’s talk about the π™Žπ™₯π™šπ™˜π™žπ™–π™‘ 𝙏𝙀𝙣𝙠𝙀𝙩𝙨π™ͺ π™π™–π™’π™šπ™£ (~$17) The meaty slices of chashu soaked up every bit of the creamy, non oily and robust broth: a textural and flavour filled meaty mouthful. πŸ₯³
The ramen egg: gooey though not the most well done, I gobbled this up with the stringy Long ramen noodles. Oh boi.🍜
Did I mention free flow eggs? Yeah, imma say it again; FREE FLOW EGGS.

ordered the normal cus i basic the black fungus nice noodle texture nice i ordered normal i cant imagine how soft would be sia. soup i order normal also but i think can go light cus rly v gao
