Fried chicken cooked with onions in nanban sauce. I had this to go, and had it for lunch the next day. A little soggy, but still good.

Before dining at Torikin, I have NEVER EVER had innards before. This dish is made up of beef intestines and beef heart, with vegetables of course. I ate a piece of beef heart by mistake (ewww), but the beef intestines were tasteless in a good way! It absorbed the sauce/dressing from the dish.

It's always a must to have dessert after meal! Love the Riceball very chewyyyyyy!!!!!! Red bean is abit too sweet for my liking.

It's the same hotpot soup with adding rice & egg to boil for few minutes. 😋

Nice Japanese hotpot (Mizutaki) and chef complimentary onion chicken. Personally I don't eat onion but they really prepare good dish.

The pot includes chicken, minced chicken, assorted veg, mushroom & tofu and choice of porridge OR noodles. The waitress will do it step by step so not to worry what to do next. So, JUST EAT! Last for not least, Suntory beer~~~ 🍻🍻

It's astonishing how a simple light-tasting vegetable stew like this can be so satisfying. Torikin's Japanese oden comes with a delectable array of vegetables, like a mochi-stuffed taopok (my favourite of the lot), a huge egg-white fishcake and a sweet chunk of radish. Those wonderful ingredients come with a superb dashi broth that's subtle yet luscious. Don't be too quick to think a dish of vegetables isn't filling nor tasty: this delicious oden would make a stunning dinner on its own. A must-try if you visit.
