An outlet exclusive! This was really nice. It’s very different from any other waffle (bagged neighbourhood bakery waffles / plated waffles from cafes), they use rice flour in the batter so the result is a mochi waffle that is delicately crisp outside, but chewy and a bit stretchy inside.

The goma gelato was v good too. Properly nutty and rich in sesame flavour, it’s sweet and has a flavour profile similar to a bssm tangyuan filling. As much as I liked bop’s goma gelato, this had a more intense flavour. Also it doesn’t melt too quickly so you can slowly savour it. The toasted rice topping was the cherry on top - it’s toasty and ricey, seems like a small component but it added a lot to the enjoyment. Highly recommend their mochi waffles and this goma gelato pairing!!

Went to Hvala to try their Matcha Ice Blend with Oat Milk ($8), Genmaicha Ice Blend with Oat Milk ($8), Goma Ice Cream ($5.90) and a Genmaicha Ice Cream ($5.90)!😇 I really enjoyed the Genmaicha icecream!!😍Goma icecream was pretty good too if you are a black sesame lover🤣 Ice Blended drinks i prefer the Matcha to the Genmaicha (due to the nutty roasted taste)😅

Overall ratings 8/10!! Would visit again and try out other items on the menu😇

Here at their newest outlet, space was limited due to the crowd on a weekend. Their ice-blended hojicha drink tasted good as usual!

Big fan of green teas, and Hvala has the absolutely best of them. Nothing on the menu has disappointed me before!

Hvala is hands down my fav dessert place ever.
Their goma (black sesame) is so fragrant and rich but not overly sweet. The combination of ice cream, mochi, and biscuit crumbs (best part) was spectacular!

Definitely a on the pricier side of desserts but worth it for the taste!
