Years ago, I would go for their waffles almost every month 😂 Thats how much I love going there because everytime, there are always different flavours (but knowing me, I would always go for PBJ ice-cream to go with my waffles) 😌🤘🏻

Always the safe bet here. Plain buttermilk waffles with 3 scoops of ice cream. Pictured is the Varlhona Chocolate, strawberry & cream and teh tarik. You can’t go wrong with the durian or cempedak flavours too!

Super soft and creamy this waffle surprised me as i would usually get the normal buttermilk flavour. However today we opted to get the charcoal one as it is said to be healthier and better and i absolutely agree. Topped off with 3 scoops of ice cream this dessert came up to about RM 30 but is definately able to fill up 2-4 pax

A double scoop of ice cream in a cup would cost RM13.50. But selected options have additional charge. Here I think it was because alcohol was used for the XO Cranberry, so it was a RM1.90 additional charge.

XO Cranberry - You can really taste the alcohol in this ice cream. The cranberries are dry and add a slight sweet taste to the ice cream.

Teh O Ais Limau - First bite, I was surprised that it was sour. Wasn't expecting it. It really tasted like if you went over to a mamak and ordered a real Teh O Ais Limau to drink. The ice cream tastes like the limau that is usually put into the drink.

Here, they have a variety of special ice creams you probably won't find anywhere else. None of that normal plain ice cream here!

Inside Scoop may not have been the first to inject local flavours into ice-cream, but they have certainly set the bar. Each deliciously smooth scoop goes for RM7.80 (a small price to pay for happiness) with premium flavours costing an additional RM1 to 2. Making you feel like a kid again is their colourful chiller of varied ice-cream flavours, with the likes of D24 (durian) and Cempedak garnering the most attention. These are incredibly luscious, but can also be overwhelming if you're not a fan of the fruits. For something more universally pleasing, rely on the rich Valrhona chocolate or a childhood favourite, Horlicks! The ice-cream purveyors also make warm, fluffy Buttermilk Waffles (RM14.50 with one single scoop ice-cream) — a choice pairing for the cool treat. Despite scarce space, seats are strategically arranged to fashion a cosy nook for a quick dessert fix with a friend. But come busier times like weekends or after dinner on weeknights, we highly recommend enjoying your ice cream in a cone (RM2) and to go!
Avg price per person: RM15

7 inches of durian flavoured goodness! Although i wished that the chocolate rice cripies center was not added in. This cakes feed about 7-10 people. Aesthetically pretty and you can also customize up to 2 flavours! (RM128)

Inside Scoop is known for their unconventional ice cream flavors. Durian, Cempedak, Teh Tarik are local favourites that won't go wrong, but if you're bold, try out some of their alcoholic flavors like Smoked Cognac, or XO Cranberry. They are also known to serve one of the best waffles in town! You can now cool off in four of their branches, namely Bangsar, Damansara Jaya, USJ Taipan and Taman Segar. Burpple Tastemaker Foodroll_'s favorite flavor is the Valhorna Chocolate, what's yours?

Feeling a little peckish and I miss having this scoop of Milk Chocolate Chip in a Vanilla waffle cone.
Walked under the scorching sun at Bangsar Telawi and decided to stop by for ice cream. Just what I needed!
Smooth, creamy, cold and satisfying. Nice balance between milk chocolate and the chocolate chip/cookies. A bit like milo, but it's totally different! They have their own milo dinosaur flavour.
Another premium flavour. Yum!

Looking for good premium ice cream with not just the usual vanilla and cookies&cream flavours but also the Malaysian teh tarik and durian flavours? You found your shop.

Inside has currently 3 outlets at Bangsar, DJ, and Taipan USJ. They will be opening their 4th outlet at Cheras really soon. Pop by to the nearest outlet to get your ice cream fix. Waffles are an extra treat with the ice cream because they taste light and fluffy, perfect combination with the ice cream. If waffles are too much, you can opt with a vanilla or chocolate homemade waffle cone. Price ranges from RM8-RM25 depends on what you're ordering.

Located at Bangsar, it's a great hangout for dessert after dinner. They have a good selection of ice cream flavors like durian, earl honey, valhorna chocolate. Paired with the soft and fluffy waffles, it's definitely a crowd pleaser!

Vanilla bean & strawberry/raspberry ice-cream with #sofluffyucandie waffles which are about half an inch thick!

I have tried numerous Durian ice-creams over the years and this is a spot on!( Malacca Jonker Street is another favourite of mine)!! Must try flavour when you head over there!Yums😁

Inside Scoop with Mom, waffle was crispy this time compared to the first time I ate it. Love the creamy Varlhona Dark Choco Ice Cream. 🍫🍦

Thankfully, KL has been seeing more and more artisinal ice cream brands of good quality popping up lately. Inside Scoop produces irresistable, fresh ice cream on-site, delivering winning flavours like Pistachio, Durian and Dark Chocolate. You can get waffles to enjoy your ice cream, but you won't need them. The serving of ice cream alone is generous and satisfying at RM7.80 for 1 scoop, and RM12.80 for 2. Obviously you should go for two scoops - since when is one scoop ever enough?

Want to choose your ice-cream for your espresso? You can give Inside Scoop a shot from their range of tasty artisanal ice-creams.

The waffle was soggy despite having a good taste, luckily the ice cream was there to save the overall experience.

The last stop. ☺️ Ice cream coma. We had flavours from mango passion sorbet, peanut butter cup, vanilla, milo, Valhorna chocolate, coconut, pistachio and smoked cognac (alcoholic chocolate ice cream)
Waffles light and fluffy as usual. My friend had the double chocolate ice cream. Damn it was so jelak. Hahaha
Milo+Vanilla combination = sweetness overload.
Triple scoop at lower left picture: weird combo. Hahah!
I like my choice of flavour. After all the food, I wanted something light. So a sorbet it is! So sour but nice! Hahah Doesn't match waffles though. 😬

Smoked cognac gets to your throat after a while. Be cautious! Make sure you can take in a lot of alcohol! Or else a taste tester is enough. One scoop is just too much for me.
In the end, my first try of waffles combination with triple scoop was the best combination for me. 😁

Food: 8/10 Price: 8/10 (We all paid separately so I can't remember and rate the prices. But my share was RM 17.80. Double scoop ice cream with waffles).

This is definitely my favourite place for ice cream now. Had three scoops of ice cream with waffles. Flavours from left to right: Peanut butter, Valhorna chocolate and XO cranberry. Such a great combination. Sweet, bitter and alcoholic. Combined with a light and crispy waffle. It's just a perfect dessert for a hot day or ANY day. Plus, who does not like ice cream?! I like this better than Haagen Dazs. Inside scoop's ice creams taste so smooth and satisfying. I just love it. But it's just in my opinion. 😊 Valhorna chocolate is my favourite.
Food: 9/10 Price: 9/10 (RM 26 - waffle with triple scoop and all the flavours I chose were premium flavours, so an add on of RM 1.50 each. Definitely still cheaper than haagen dazs)
