A jewel in Section 17 making great cakes. They are a humble cafe with black signboard on the street same row as Strangers at 47. Flower and ageless design seems to be the theme that made them elegantly outstanding. Talking about the cake, we were surprised at the first bite. There are really delight sweetness as an intro, follows by the enjoyment of smells from flower and fruit. Texture was soft and a little moist. A piece of art, though I could not get what was the chocolate deco are. Price: RM13, Food: 9/10

I love the tomato salsa topping! It was well seasoned and also because it's my favorite topping/side dish. There was definitely some salsa going on at every bite 💃 Thanks for hosting Kimberly and I, @jeqinthehouse!

A cosy-chill cafe in Section 17, PJ, Jeq in The House serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and a good dose of coffee. I find the food and portion alright for the price (RM 15) the coffee (RM 6) was on the sour-side, reminding me of Three Little Birds' coffee. My only gripe was that there was a fly that disturbed me while eating.

Located along the same row as Stranger's at 47, Jeq in the House is a wood-themed, rustic cafe that aims to serve you a cozy meal. Their desserts are baked in-house and are to die for, be sure to get their tiramisu and macadamia caramel cheesecakes! If you're coming here hungry, you definitely should go for the classic big breakfast to fill you up. Lighter options include the grilled chicken salad or bruschetta, good choices which won't put you in a food coma. The V60 brewing method is available for your coffee, which is made with La Trinidad coffee beans from Costa Rica!

Sautéed mushrooms & spinach, tomato salsa and bullseye egg on toast make the 3 types of bruschetta served at Jeq In The House. Great for those with small appetites or to share! I personally love the tomato salsa bruschetta. Not only is it a classic topping for a bruschetta, it is also very well seasoned!
