[CLOSED] Jogurtz (Old Airport Road Food Centre)

Chose a large size ($5, 12 oz) - watermelon, kiwi, Oreo, fruity pebbles and caramel sauce.
SOUR, SOUR and too SOUR for me. The texture was similar to sorbet, which was refreshing, less creamy and milky as compared to its competitor aka you know who.
The owner shared that the sourness is due to their recipe of using pure yogurt with low fat content. This may appeal to those who prefer a tangy and zingy sensation.

Unfortunately this wasn't a good substitute cos it's too icy for my liking. :'( But that said, I appreciate the generous serving of toppings and of course, the affordable price point. 😊

[NEW] [Dakota] [Opened: Jul 2015] Yogurt shop in a hawker centre? Perfect place since we don't get air con there and it can be quite hot! 4 days old Jogurtz only serve 2 size of froyo with a selection of toppings like all other froyo shops out there.

The small one allows you to choose one topping with one sauce whereas the large one will get us 4 toppings with 1 sauce. The froyo melted pretty quickly (no air con ma) and was less milky compared to other brands out there. Pretty refreshing and zesty though.

Bizarre but true. However, I have to agree it's a smart move as there will always be a crowd and rental is relatively lower as compared to a retail space in a shopping mall. Is this a recipe for success which will kickstart more entrepreneurs to set up unique stalls in our local hawker centers? The major stumbling block I would say is the right target audience. For example, setting up a frozen yogurt bar in Old Airport Road Food Centre is appropriate as there are many young working adults or students patronizing there on a regular basis. Furthermore, by pricing your large froyo at $5 ($1.95 cheaper than llaollao) is a good tactic and in the long run, Jogurtz can maybe expand their choices of fruits and toppings to better compete with llaollao.
