Tasty tender duck meat over savoury fluffy rice.
Surrounded salted vegetables, taukwa, braised egg and blanched vegetables.
Highly recommended!

Not the Indonesian BBQ stall (I've tried that, and yes it's pretty good), but from the Ayam Penyet stall further inside the Kopitiam. I think I found my new fav ayam bakar, like finallly!!! So damn good! The marination of the chicken...omg. I can eat it forvever! Gotta go back there soon!

Fishball noodles ($3.50)

Meepok and ingredients were all quite nice. Only thing is there was alot of garlic beneath which I didn't like.

Eating clean doesn’t have to be a costly thing. This packet of cai png at Kopitiam just costs me $4 (a good $3.40 after Kopitiam card discount) & I have all my carbs & vegetables covered! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» This includes a top-up of $0.40 for brown rice - quite glad to find this option at the cai png stall! Looks like many Singaporeans are becoming more & more health-conscious! πŸ’š
As I was expecting a long day ahead, I chose some pumpkin to make it an even more filling meal. πŸ’― Although I wished they were softer & more fragrant (like the ones that my mum makes at home with dried shrimps), I simply love the natural earthy sweetness of the pumpkin.Β πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Add on some stir-fried cabbage & soft spinach, this made a nutritious & fulfilling meal indeed! πŸ’•
Looks like I will be patronising this cai png stall frequently for my #eatclean challenge! βœ”

That's a lot of greens resting on the star of the show. Unfortunately it's not that starry. Edible but not on the level of authentic Chinese.
