Anyway, this trending fruit cup has finally come to Singapore.
The cup was filled with layers of mango juice, fresh cream, mango sorbet and cubes of fresh mangoes from Thailand.

Firstly, greeted with such a friendly waitress. Secondly,waiting time was not too long. And lastly, 9/10 for the fusion food. Though its abit pricey but with excellent service and scrumptious food, and also big portion,it's worth every penny. 😊
If you are in for a light tea break, Kanoom also serves steam bread with a variety of dips. While the bread feels as if it's from a neighbourhood bakery, it's served warm, steamed to pillowy soft texture. Durian dip, served warm was pungent, yet smooth and creamy without feeling any bit artificial. They were rather generous with the dip, which was enough for the eight cubes of bread it cones served with. For milk tea lovers, they also have a Cha Yen dip which looks worth a try!

My favourite and definitely my family's go-to dessert store since I was young, Kim Lotus is frequent by most living in the neighbourhood be it young or old. There is always a steady stream of people queuing, often for take-away and at times sit-in to enjoy the desserts.
A sweet reward after swimming lessons or a pick-me-up following a grueling day at school or just a simple after-meal dessert.... Food plays a large role in my childhood hence affordable and consistent the variety of desserts at Kim Lotus are always a treat. (Ps: Their Cold Bo Bo Cha Cha is my fav)

A cafe with great ambience, for chilling and just simply catching up with friends. The dishes served are simple, probably a little overpriced. Nonetheless the coffee & food are great :)
Sambal fries is a local inspired dish with French fries covered with their in house sambal sauce, topped with sunny side ups and fried shallots all over. Break the eggs and mix it well before you started eating. It was a little bit salty for me at some point, but it was flavorful with a little spice and the richness of the egg yolks in it. Pretty addictive! 😋😋😋

Besides homemade ice cream, waffles and coffee, they also offer a selection of tarts and cakes to satisfy your dessert cravings. Try their banoffee pie and hazelnut dacquiose recommended by Tastemaker Jennifer Yeo, and their yummy honey scotch ice cream. We ought to count our lucky stars that in hot, humid Singapore, we sure don't have a lack of cool-me-down ice cream parlours!
