Haven't found churros that rivals those I've enjoyed on the streets of Spain, but those from J's cut it pretty close. Crisp, yet not oily; dense, yet fluffy. Totally made my meal. Wasn't a fan of the mango banana mascarpone though.
And All Things Delicious offers a wide variety for halal-certified bakes such as brownies, galettes, cakes and scones. To satisfy just about everyone, they have both sweet and savoury scones -- gula melaka, cheese, and onion. The bakers here insists on using unprocessed ingredients such as unsalted butter and organic ingredients in order to make their bakes taste more "natural". This certainly shows, as diners get to enjoy clean yet flavourful treats.

Was pleasantly surprise with my first slip on the ice latte.. Nice aroma and quite flavorful.
Here's Studio Cafe SG: serving local malay favourites along with some western foods. Cheap and good and not pretendious. (Fried Kway Teow was $6.50, Chilli Cheese Fries was $6) Sandwich is so-so though.
The ice cream place next door, Little Prince Creamery, is awesome too!

Opened this February, Wilder focuses on coffee and brunch, and boasts an industrial-chic interior. Currently, their brunch menu is still rather limited, but you should go for the prawn and corn fritters, topped with a fried egg and served with guacamole and salsa. They use Gentlemen's Coffee Company's coffee blends, perfect for going with sweet treats like cupcakes and cakes that they serve as well.
This rendition was rather disappointing; waffles were dry and bland, with fried chicken nuggets which were really mediocre. Strange that even the mayo was pretty tasteless, and the only flavour that actually tasted of something was the maple syrup. Guess there is really a lot they need to do about this ...
Lynn's Cakes & Coffee's Rainbow Cake was one of the best I ever had. It was well layered, moist and spongy. The flat white didn’t complement well with it, probably because it didn’t taste robust like how I like my coffee to be. On another note, a pot of tea might have been a wiser option. Having been drawing such large crowds, Badoque Cafe now has two branches to satisfy your cravings. Get the Beef Ribs to share -- fall-off-the-bone tender, lip-smacking ribs you'll be glad you ordered. If you're feeling in the mood for some seafood instead, go for the Mermaid's Tears or the Shrimp Laksa Fettucine. Just a note of caution: come here when you're feeling absolutely ravenous and/or with a group of friends, because their portions are huge!

The cupcake was ridiculously moist and delicious, with the fragrance of rose permeating from every pore of both cake and cream whilst an entire piece of succulent, juicy lychee waits patiently within. Now I understand why people queue. 4.2/5
