Breakfast
Always comforting to have good coffee in ur hands
Definitely worth the trip down here with amazing ambience, food & friendly staff! π Happy Saturday yall!
Voted as #1 position for the best prata in Singapore by Ieatishootipost and also a highly recommended place by sooooo many food bloggers, finally made a trip down after a gruesome IPPT session π.
Side track: WHY?! WHY $200 only?! Wanted silver so badly!! πππ Anyway, the prata here were super fresh and extremely soft inside! There are three types of curry over here: Dhal, Fish and Sambal Ikan Bilis. I opted for the Dhal one, which is the mild curry mostly made up of potatoes because it doesn't taste so spicy π. Oh, and do come early because the prata here are usually SOLD OUT before 12!

What more can I ask for? Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs with sautΓ©ed mushrooms ($15) at #selfishgenecafe. π
I ate Beef Sandwiches (13$). It's value for money because that's including tax and there's no service fee. Of course it was delicious and enough amount for my stomach. I also ate banana cake, I also recommend it.
Bad photo because of bad lighting. But nevertheless it was really good!!! The curry was sweet with the right level of spiciness! I love the huge chunks of chicken inside. The baguette at the side was warm and soft. Such bliss βΊοΈ
Nothing to shout about as it is something you can assemble yourself with balsamic cream, though the size is awesome. I love the casual environment and great service though.
Heard so much about this and it didn't disappoint! Possibly one of the best sandwiches I've eaten. Crispy, crackly pork with sweet purple cabbage and apple - the right balance of every flavour πππππ
Starting the day right by eating breakfast! Ok technically it's something I probably can cook at home. But it probably wouldn't taste as nice because I'm a disaster in the kitchen. Here's some smoked salmon, happy sunny side-up & proper toast with a pretty good cuppa.
A dish that literally makes you worry about your cholesterol intake because there is just too much eggs! Instead of coming with the usual Hollandaise sauce, Drury Lane decided to infuse some local flavours and used Salted Egg sauce instead, which was not only thick and savoury but had clumps of salted egg around to enhance the flavour. Grilled Prawns were fresh but slightly too overcooked, while there was a nice layer of leaves in between the buns to even out the intense flavours. Eggs was flowy, sitting atop the bread but the white steamed bread seemed a tad dense and too sweet for my liking; perhaps they should probably use the same bread Tong Ah uses to input a more fluffier and lighter texture which would suit the dish more.
