We initially wanted to try the soba noodles but they were out of stock. If I remember correctly, it cost $9.80 for the chicken and $14.80 for the beef. It is worth a try but I wouldn't go back again as the price isn't really worth it. The entire meal including Cheesy Pork Fries and a cup of tea cost about $40.

4 munchies: Topped with smokey pepperoni and smothered generously with three types of cheese – gruyere, mozzarella and Parmesan, I liked how the fries were cut thick not only for a good bite, but also for getting more of the gooey cheese on them. The house-made bacon ketchup served at the side was absolutely smashing; it was sweet-savoury with hints of smokey bacon and caramelised onion flavours.

Pair this sinful bar bite with a couple of bottles of craft beers (I recommend the Tuatara APA & Castaway IPA) and you're set for a chill night by the bay! #Burpproved

$16 for a 128g of ribeye steak? You've heard me right! Great value, great food! Oh! The meats come with 2 free complementary sides too!

Ninja Bowl takes over the defunct Department of Caffeine in Duxton, dishing out hearty, protein-based dishes at affordable prices. Come with your colleagues and share the Poutine ($14), unbelievably tender braised beef cheeks on a heap of shoestring fries. Then dig into one of their eight protein bowls. The Noka ($14), which comes with the same beef cheeks, is a must order. Another standout is the value for money Kaisen ($16), juicy pan-seared Hokkaido scallops and mussels served with lemon butter sauce, mixed mushrooms and carrots. The bowls do not come with any grains or greens, so if you need something heartier, opt to add the Ninja Rice ($2) in your bowl — a mix of brown rice and Japanese rice.
Avg price: $20 per person

Le Steak by Chef Amri is a family-friendly steakhouse that is well-loved for the superb sirloin steak, as well as grilled chicken and seared salmon – all priced reasonably below $20. Even the desserts like bread pudding or crème brûlée are a hit at just under $10. If you're in the Jalan Kayu area, this is the perfect place for dinner with your loved ones. If that’s too far, the newest outlet along Mackenzie Road might be a better option.

Mario Batali's famed pizzeria at Marina Bay Sands draws a crowd all the time, and for good reason. Known for crusts that seemingly envelope the toppings, the pizzas here are all about that thick, airy, chewy crust. Yet somehow, its center is thin and topped with fresh, high quality ingredients and if you like unique toppings, you're at the right place. Go with a hearty appetite because you won't want to miss the Egg, Bacon ($38; Yukon gold potato, heady truffle, salty pancetta), the Fennel Sausage ($29), and the Funghi Misti ($30; loaded with mushrooms, fontina, taleggio). If you’re there during their peak period, you might want to snack on the delish Fried Pig's Ears with Salsa Calabrese ($15) while waiting for your pizzas. Prices run steep but it's a lovely opportunity to dress up, bring your date or family to, and get some wine with amazing pizzas! Do note that pastas are only served next door at Osteria Mozza.

The Tom Yum Spaghetti was definitely the best one!!! It's also at a reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

S$6.80 for this amazing Australian 'slice-of-heaven'. Creamy and not-too-sweet ice cream complements the crunchy and NON-SOGGY cookie sandwich. The size is just nice to be shared with a friend :) They had a total of 9 flavours to choose frm - we had the Caramel Pecan (no regrets!)

Me think it's the truly test kitchen's pasta in chicken curry cream sauce. It's spicy, it's aromatic, it's affordable at SGD 3.50 and best of all, it's great tasting! It's good deal, it's good value, it's appetizing and it's pleasing to my palate and wallet too :)

Suffice to say it's brilliant along with @poloseah83 other great dishes at @humpback.sg , read all about it in my latest review on my blog :)

When they first started, it was on rye, but I guess it didn't sit with a lot of people, hence they changed it to wholemeal.

That aside, the juicy slabs of roast beef with pickled cabbage goes so well, with crunchy bits of watercress makes it so easy to devour. Then ending your meal on a sweet & oh-so-good note with their Sticky Date Pudding (S$10) served with caramel sauce & vanilla ice cream.
This is one dessert that you MUST order, I kid you not.
