The Xiao Wan Mian is delicious. Especially the soup. The cracked egg goes so well with the broth, which would have absorbed all the flavours from the pork, bak chor, fish cakes and wanton. If I could drink this soup everyday I would. 😋😋If you are a soup person, and you prefer your bak chor mee with soup instead of dry, you must try the Xiao Wan Mian here! 🍲

Finally! For the One-North office crowd, we have a nice food court that has just opened (31st May) at the new Mediacorp Campus @ Stars Avenue. Move over Timbre+, Mediacorp's Third Place has aircon and super delicious food! The opening has got the folks nearby all excited (partly because there's another excuse to stalk the celebrities there 😂) Featuring their Sambal Fried Rice that's really really nice. Must try! 👍

We dropped by for lunch at Timbre+ after we read about the new list made by the Michelin Guide Singapore. We ordered one set A, black sauce meepok with chili served separately. At S$6.50 (including drinks), the ingredients given were really A LOT that I could barely see the meepok underneath 😂 We could tell that the fishballs were different from the usual ones and as expected, the fish skins were really 👍. (How could fish skins taste badly right?😅) But the signature dried meepok was a slight disappointment as it wasn't Al-Dente and the black sauce was a bit bland without chili added. If you would like to try, go for the chili-based noodle. 😉
