Went back again to @thebutcherskitchensg and tried their Fried Onion Rings ($6.80) from the starters and they were massive 😱 The onions were beer battered and fried to perfection, served with a garlic mayo dip.

Super love the 50% off specialty rolls that @standingsushibar has on Wednesdays :’) The Rockstar Roll ($16.90) had the nicest and super generous torched mentaiko sauce on seared salmon 🤤 Plus that fried cheddar cheese thing going on inside the sushi rolls were so on point.

The Siobak Aglio ($24.90) was my favourite dish from @froth.sg like wow which one of us doesn’t love a good ol’ crispy skin, slow roasted pork belly?
They also used my favourite type of pasta, linguine, for the base of this pasta dish. The pasta was springy and flavourful despite it being light. The aglio olio was the perfect option to go with the siobak.
One thing I would change about this dish was the pork jerky on top which was a pretty weird element to the dish. It tasted like a caramelised bacon that was slightly burnt, but maybe it’s acquired? Despite that, the flavours in the 6 generous portions of siobak was on point 🤤 #froth #frothsg #rafflesplace

A starter that is a must try at @theranchbyastons was the Homemade Crab Cake ($18).
They use premium crab meat in the patty and it was really a delight accompanied with the refreshing avocado ice cream. One of my favourite elements on this dish was the roasted red capsicum ketchup that went so well with the crab cake 🦀 #theranchsteakhouse #theranch #astons #clarkequay #fortcanning

The Signature USDA Prime 30 Days Dry Aged Steak was a sight to behold.
This 700g of Porterhouse T-Bone ($15/100g, min. order 700g) was enough to feed about 2-4 pax and came with a choice of one sauce - Bearnaise, Perigord Truffle, Red Wine or Twin Peppercorn. Honestly, the steak was already so amazing on it’s own but I do recommend the Perigord Truffle sauce 🥩
Whip out your phones as they will serve your choice of steak table side and cut it right in front of you. The difference between a regular steak and a dry aged steak that I noticed the most was that the dry aged steak was more firm and compact, giving you a lot of flavour in every bite. Along with your steaks, feel free to order any of their side dishes for $8 each. I recommend @theranchbyastons Homemade Fries which were so well made I was so addicted to them 🤤

Nearly passed out having the A4 Wagyu Beef in the bonito broth that was made in front of us.
The bonito flakes was shredded from the bonito fish from Japan, and then infused in the dashi stock.
For the wagyu, the fat to meat ratio was so high and they were so thinly sliced. It was cooked to perfection in 15 seconds 👌🏻 #dashimastermarusaya #marusaya

Originating from “Chan puru”, which means Okinawan stir-fried noodles, the Sakura Ebi Somen created at Plum & Toro will have you going for seconds.
Tossed in a fragrant scampi oil, the thin noodles were so smooth and had a really nice bite to it. Finally, crispy and savoury sakura ebi that was fried perfectly was added on top 🦐

A Singaporean twist on a familiar Italian dish, the Seafood Tom Yum Risotto ($26.90) may sound odd but still had the creamy texture of a risotto.
The risotto was slightly sour and spicy, but not too overpowering with tom yum ☺️
Topped with grilled tiger prawns, flower clams and squid, this dish is not only gonna fill you up but also give your taste buds an interesting experience. I appreciated how they peeled the prawns for lazy me too! Even though I prefer having my usual type of risotto, this is really worth the try especially in the spirit of our Singapore National Day 🇸🇬

Missing Thai street food so badly and the Moo Ping/Barbeque Pork Skewer ($12.80) is probably the closest thing to it 😭 The chef who made this dish is actually Thai which makes it even more authentic.
All 3 skewers of pork were both sweet and savoury and it came with a chef's special Thai chilli that everyone felt was the best dip ever. #thebutcherskitchen #thebutcherskitchensg #sunteccity #sunteccitymall

Sucker for Spam Fries ($8.90) but what made the one from @froth.sg stand out was the truffle mayonnaise dip at the side.
It was so fragrant and allows for 2 flavours in one dish - you have to try it. #froth #frothsg

The White Curry Ramen from @ikura_sg was so enjoyable.
The broth was thick and it coated the ramen noodles perfectly 🤤 Topped with the sweetest corn and pork slices, it was such an interesting dish that I would go back for again and again. #ikurasg #ramen
