Unless you're really craving a lobster feast, the $29.90 option will satisfy. Add on the tender and chewy Pan Fried Kurobuta Pork (from $14.90) coated in an addictive sweet sauce, and get your snack on with their Crispy Lotus Root With Salted Egg ($11.90) for crunchy deep fried renkon chips drizzled in a creamy salted egg yolk sauce.

An absolute must-order is the Steamed Grouper Fillets with Beancurd in XO sauce ($18.80 per pax, $68 for a regular plate) that sees fresh slices of fish topped with the perfect amount of mildly spicy, umami sauce. Other standouts include their crisp Peking Duck (S$37) and fragrant Stir Fried Long Beans ($18) with a nice wok-hei and spice. Yum!

The Executive Set Menu A ($48 per pax) is a six course meal with 2 types of dim sum, Chef's Special Soup of the Day, a delectable pan fried Kurobuta Pork Chop, prawns and dessert. Good for family reunions is the eight-course Golden Palace Set Menu B ($888 for 10 pax) that includes a Roasted Peking Duck and the Crab Meat and Fish Maw Thick Soup in Teochew style. For ala carte options, their yummy Double Boiled Giant Grouper Head with Ginger and Premium Nan Zao ($22/pax) is one that's not to be missed!

Reserve a table early if you wish to get an unobstructed view of the waterfront— the perfect backdrop to their set dinners (from $118 per pax, minimum 4 pax). Start with the decadent Sautéed Crab Meat with Egg White & Asparagus in Truffle Oil, but look forward to their main event, the signature Roasted Peking Duck, which comes in two parts. The first features the super crispy skin that tastes amazing on its own or when dipped into salt or sugar. The juicy slices of duck meat are then served, to be wrapped in a handmade crepe, and slathered in hoisin sauce for a tinge of sweetness.

Load up on the simple but tasty Fried Rice with Crab Roe ($22.8) that sees eggy rice buried in rich and creamy crab roe sauce. Fitted with dim lighting and gold finishings, this ostentatious restaurant in Marriott Tang is excellent for business dinners or company lunches. Burppler Casey Tan adores their flakey Deep Fried Taro Dumplings ($10.50 for two) stuffed with creamy scallops and topped with mini abalone. The Siew Mai ($5/2pcs) is especially tasty when paired with their spicy Szechuan chili oil. If anything, be sure to order the quintessential Rice Noodle Roll With Prawns ($5.50) which is generously portioned, with large prawns. For dessert, get the Deep Fried Crispy Durian ($18 for 4pcs) that is both delightfully chewy as it is crispy.

Good for sharing is the Beef Stew Pot (from $24.90) with an intense in-your-face spice that goes well with the tender beef offal! A must-order is their meaty and succulent Grilled Seabass with Lemongrass ($22.90) rubbed with fragrant dry spices. Pro tip: Ask to have the chilli power served on the side to savour the fish sans spice!
