French toast was good, Pancake ain’t so fantastic and the sourdough is over toasted. Overall the ambience of the space is nice, best thing is free parking in the east.

Well-balanced coffee to milk ratio with light lavender taste; not acidic or bitter..

Well-balanced green tea to milk ratio; mild sweetness; ginger taste complement the green tea really well..

The roast almond coffee ($7.50) was really fragrant with a distinct roast almond flavour that complemented the coffee. The black sesame cake and earl grey cheesecake (~$7.50)were pretty good but we felt that the black sesame cake stood out more because it was dense and moist plus the black sesame flavour was rich too!

2nd attempt at visiting this place (1st was on a weekend and the waiting time was an hour!) - got an indoor seat after 15 minutes. The place was bright and airy, seats were well spaced. Food came promptly and was good. Enjoyed the salted caramel banana waffles. Overall an enjoyable experience!

From the same folks that bring you Baker & Cook, Plank serves up artisanal pizzas with their own unique creations. A rustic look and feel, the thin and soft pizzas were full of flavours and the crust was nicely charred and crispy - and the caramelised garlic was interesting. Personally just go plain as the pizza dough and tomato sauce was good enough as it is. 🍕

Overall pretty standard brunch fare. To be fair, i came here for the pancakes and they were sold out that day.

MVP: Ondeh Ondeh Cake. Wow. It is rich and creamy at the right spot. Soft as a baby's bottom. The main part of the cake cuts through the sweetness to ensure it is not surfeiting. MVP🥚: 9/10

There’s a half an hour window where the kitchen team takes a pause (so no hot food will be served during this time) between 530pm-6pm to turn from their Day menu to their Night menu, so we decided to have coffee and cake before dinner.
Turned out to be a wonderful decision.
This Honey Yuzu Cake had lovely fluffy layers of sponge and a brave amount of tang, something I find lacking in most other Yuzu cakes. The next time I order this, I won’t be sharing it!

The moment the coffee enters your mouth, the coffee taste hits your tongue and it’s so smooth that it glides down your throat.

Probably one of the best coffee I had in Singapore
