My kind of Monday blues – a milky, ice-blended concoction of Yakult, honey, cheese, butterfly pea and the prettiest Bobii (boba) I’ve ever seen. It looks saccharine, but the flavour is really well-balanced, refreshing and doesn’t scream “diabetes”.

Newly launched today at @dalkommsg are these four drinks, which make up the Cream Kiss series! Each comprises a fluffy layer of aerated whipped cream – the matcha and chocolate numbers have strawberry jam blended in – on a milk-based beverage.

My favourite is the Strawberry Chocolate, which is pretty much what a Neapolitan milkshake would taste like. So perfect for blazing hot afternoons!

Need a mid-afternoon wake-up kick? @lorganandsons, Singapore's first cold brew subscription service, will deliver that right to your home / office door.

The cold drip method leaves the beverage smooth and robust, but not too acidic. Enjoy yours straight from the bottle, or turn it into an extra-indulgent treat like I did with a scoop of your favourite ice cream and chocolate sauce. PERFECT for battling the unbearable humidity these days 👌🏻 .

These epic monstrosities have been flooding Instagram of late, and thanks to @alainlicious, I got to have a taste of them yesterday. This Coffee Avocado shake is a best-seller and it's no wonder why. It's delicious.

At $18.90, it's leaning more towards a dessert than a mere ol'fashioned milkshake, with embellishments of biscuits, whipped cream and wafers protruding out of or miraculously balanced atop the mason jug. They sure don't call this an "Over the Top" milkshake for no reason. But beneath all the glitz and glam, the coffee shake itself is gloriously velvety and rich, with milky vanilla and avocado flavours underpinning the strong top notes of espresso.

Sometimes, shit happens and annoys the hell out of me. But then, I count my blessings and think of the awesome clients that I am blessed to be working with and for.

Gawd, I think I need a beer right now. Make that a Chir Cream Beer.

So here's the story behind this beer and whipped cream combi: it was first created by some youths in Hongdae (a district in Seoul that is popular among teenagers and young adults). Its popularity caught on when a Korean drama featured it in an episode, in which the lead actress took a sip – or maybe it was a gulp, because there's no way to reach the beer under all that sweet stuff otherwise, leaving a "moustache" across her upper lip which the lead actor found so alluring that he promptly plonked a wet one on her smackers 💋. Kiss, anyone? Lol.

Exactly what it sounds like, a malty Horlicks milkshake topped with crushed Maltesers. I know my boyfriend loves me cos he still let's me consume calorie-laden stuff like this despite my ever-expanding waistline. 😣

Fancy a hand-shaped Gingy with a throat-warming beverage of cinnamon, Baileys and kahlua? Each of the cookies are personally designed by assistant manager Joseph (he also waits on tables, makes the drinks and curates the playlist), and come with different expressions. Mine is grumpy cos his boxer briefs are too skanky.

Lemon tart transformed into a smooth beverage – what sorcery is this?! I endorse!!
