🆕🇸🇬 Singapore inspired Crispy Hainanese Chicken Burger @mcdsg

Ordered the whole set including the crisscut fries, banana pie and kopi frappé (S$11+).

🍔 I liked the crispy coating of the fried chicken. It's like McSpicy but not spicy. There's crunchy shredded cabbage and lettuce with garlic sauce. I loveee eating it with the dark sweet sauce. Wished they give 2 packets.

🍟 Crisscut fries was crispy and flavorful. Honestly preferred this to twister fries.

🍌 So glad they brought back banana pie. It's my fave McDonald's pie. Taste like goreng pisang.

☕ The kopi frappé topped with whipped cream was quite sweet. Not bad but wished it was less sweet.

Yes, I am that friend who dunks her fries in a Mcflurry… and is a big fan of cookie butter.

Hence, I really enjoyed @mcdsg's latest Lotus Biscoff McFlurry ($3.40). While it could certainly use a swirl of sauce (be it caramel or speculoos), the serving of Lotus biscuit crumbles was generous and spread pretty evenly in the vanilla soft-serve. The caramelised crumbs also adding a nice crunch and sweetness to the cool creamy ice cream - just what I need for the crazy hot weather.

☕ McCafe's Chicken Mayo Sandwich with Cappuccino (S$6.50). Very tasty chicken mayo with melted cheese and the bread was well toasted, good for a light dinner ☺.

With jalapeño relish, bacon, and Colby cheese

Nothing really stood out and could not compare to the first bite I took months ago for some reason. Then again given its price tag it's expectedly better than their other beef burgers, with more flavours from the relish that's got some tanginess and spices. Definitely better when it's hot though

The brand new McDonald's offerings, Classic Beef with Chicken Bacon as well as Beef and Mushroom Deluxe were pretty good. Both served with a side of potato wedges, I personally preferred the former burger as the inclusion of onions and the smoky flavoured sauce had an overall more robust taste as compared to the black pepper mushroom sauce in the latter. Sandwiched between toasted corn dusted buns, the classic comes with a 100% Australia NZ beef patty with swiss cheese, crisp lettuce and tomato slices while the Mushroom Deluxe additionally has grilled mushrooms tucked in the mix.

I’m a huge fan of lotus biscoff®. For this simple reason, McDonald's vanilla soft serve topped with the sweet caramelised biscuit crumbs is simply a match made in heaven. 💞
