Erm, kinda difficult to appreciate this dish. Incredibly jelat from the thick tasteless cream(it's not even a cream sauce anymore, it's straight up thickened cream)

The small portion is more than enough for sharing. I doubt most of us not accustomed to French cuisine can take more than a few spoonfuls of this. The ravioles? was thin and filled with chives and cheese, the moistness is balanced but the taste is super mild due to the ratio of filling to skin.

The florets of Tete de Moine were delicious though, very savoury with a slight funk. I don't think it's bad, but I can't appreciate this dish much

You get a started, main and a dessert as your 3 courses and you can pick any two (of course you'll order a main). I had Sautéed red snapper coated in seasoned flour (Meuniere style) with creamy risotto for my main.
Nice and tender fish with creamy risotto. A bit of tanginess with the chunky tomato and herbs saucy

They have a daily selection of cheese. I got comte, Ossau Inaty and fourme d'ambert with artisanal fig jam. If you're ordering their lunch set then the cheese platter comes for additional +12++ only. This was my zillionth visit to this restaurant and I'm always happy. It's french, it's chic and it has great food.

This was highly recommended by the waiter in charge of our table!! The dish comprised a thin-crust pizza served with coppa ham, mushrooms and was topped with truffle oil to give it a delicious fragrance 😋 The thin crust is great for ensuring you have sufficient stomach space for trying Merci Marcel's other signature dishes, such as their ravioli. Priced at $26++, the dish is great for sharing amongst bigger groups. :) If you are keen to try it, do note that this dish isn't served at the Orchard outlet!

Shredded duck meat with cheese on a piece of sourdough bread! The bread was toasted slightly which made it crispy, and the melted cheese will be attractive to cheese-lovers too! The piece of sliced pear added on top added a nice sweetness to the dish, which contrasted with the cheese and duck meat. The waiter highly recommended this dish over my initial choice of truffle fries! While I went along with his suggestion, you may wish to note that the price of $18++ is rather steep for a starter.

A dish with small ravioli, which are French dumpling pasta that are, in this case, served with cheese in it. Not to mention that the sauce outside contains more cream and cheese. Definitely perfect for cheese lovers! The waiter serving us highly recommended this dish as it was the restaurant's best-seller.

The dish comes in two sizes, $18++ and $28++, and the picture shown is the smaller serving. If you want to have the stomach space for their other wonderful dishes, it may be best to order the smaller serving as the cream will quickly fill you up.
