Super affordable dim sum place in katong!!

- steamed bun with bbq pork $4.20
- fried shrimp dumpling $4.20
- fried beancurd roll with shredded mango & shrimp $4.20
- yangzhou fried rice (I usually ask with no peas) $5.5-$10
The famed Lor 9 Beef Hor Fun of Mongkok Dim Sum, but in the East! Wasn’t feeling the Black Bean sauce that day and had asked for them to customise it to have seafood horfun with beef instead. Thankfully they agreed to it and eat was superb as usual.
Favourite supper place in the east coast, especially for late night hangs.
Solid dimsum at our neighborhood joint. That crispy crust on the carrot cake is 😍. Generous and fresh filling in the steamed and fried parcels of food. Used to frequent the Geylang outlet post-ktv at 3am and would have their beef horfun and dimsum. Fond memories.
Apart from their awesome dim sum, mongkok has fantastic zi char as well. Try the beef fried rice and salted egg ribs!!! The other dishes are equally good too!
Best dim sum ever!!! Their dim sum totally beats most places in Singapore. Try the custard liu sha bao, prawn paste chicken, rice roll with char siew, pan fried carrot cake and 3 layer milk tea!
L to R: spinach prawn dumpling, prawn paste chicken, prawn chee cheong fun, fried radish cake, lotus leaf rice. Everything was really good except for the chee cheong fun which was too thick.
