The croissant ($4) is really something to behold 😭 just look at how its many layers are evident, and so nicely rolled! The croissant’s crisp exterior flakes nicely, and its insides are filled with buttery layers. Such a sinful treat!

Mother Dough has been on my list of bakeries to try for the longest time! Snagged a few and they proved delightful. The banana walnut bread ($4) was a hefty slice, moist and packed with chopped nuts! The cookie ($3) was a crowd favourite - crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside and chock full of melted chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt. I’d head back just for this!! Lastly, the rye fudge brownie ($5.50) was perhaps my least favourite of the lot - it was on the dry side and crumbly, lacking the rich flavour I’d expect from a fudge brownie.

Was lucky enough to snag the last slice of π™‡π™šπ™’π™€π™£ π˜Ώπ™§π™žπ™―π™―π™‘π™š π˜Ύπ™–π™ π™š (~$4.50), bc the ratio of drizzle to cake was flawless. And so was the buttery texture of the cake. And the sweet - sour flavour profile of the frosting. And everything. 🍰

Everyone’s been raving about their almond croissants, but lemme just talk to you about their π˜½π™šπ™šπ™› π™‹π™šπ™₯π™₯π™šπ™§π™€π™£π™ž π™Œπ™ͺπ™žπ™˜π™π™š (~$6.50).

I honestly doubted this at first, but really, I shouldn’t have. Filled sparingly with smoky pepperoni and sweet dried cherry tomatoes, I reckon they could afford more ingredients. (Although their peppery egg custard done omelet style was to die for, and I wouldn’t mind having it plain tbh) πŸ₯§

The pie crust was a wonder in itself: buttery with that burnt flavour without actually being burnt , β€” how?

The biscuit with chilli jam looked and tasted really good too. It wasn't too dense as well.

They have an option of meat/vegetarian quiche. I got the meat option and this has hot dogs in it. The quiche was pretty dense and had quite a bit of filling in this too.
