My Little Spanish Place (Bukit Timah)

Founded in March 2010 and located in the Bukit Timah neighbourhood in Singapore, My Little Spanish Place is inspired by the ‘meson’, a typical home-style restaurant often found in Spanish regions. Its philosophy is based on the Spanish saying, “Mi Casa es Su Casa”, which means “My House is Your House”. The first Spanish restaurant to be helmed by two chefs with strong Spanish heritage – Maria Sevillano from Salamanca, Spain and Edward Esmero from Philippines, it boasts a full-fledged menu of Spanish home-style dishes and desserts. It also offers Singapore’s most complete Jamon Bar and a Spanish ‘Despensa’ (pantry).


From the Burpple community

This is grilled octopus leg with red pepper and saffron potato purées. The octopus is from Spain and it was chewy too.

The chocolate tart comes with strawberries and strawberry sauce! It’s very rich, the strawberries were a good balance for this.

The churros was pretty good too, crispy outside and dense inside. They come with have a tub of caramel, chocolate and ice cream as well. The caramel’s especially fragrant too 😋

This is a flourless almond and pistachio cake which was very nutty, going well with their caramel. The caramel was surprising, it had a more burnt flavour and was very good.

The secreto iberico consists of seared iberico secret pork slices that were really juicy and flavourful 😋

These are prawns with olive oil and chilli, the sauce was fragrant and went well with the bread.
