Kaya butter toast had a generous slab of butter with a good amount of kaya spread. Soft-boiled egg was runny and cooked just right as well.

For me, a simple warm toast, crisp on the outside, with a cottony interior texture, slathered with kaya sandwiching a slab of butter, is always that, even for dinnertime. Then wash it down with a cup of warm tea. Understated meal, to cap off a tumultuous week. It's all one can do. Balance does magic, as with everything. 給疲憊的心一點安撫.
