Underrated Tom Yum soup for a local restaurant in Cheras! Goes well with rice or on its own. They do serve the white Tom Yum too but I’m definitely #TeamRed.

Ah Roy holds many specialties, including the Steam Squid (RM39) and Pandan Leaf Chicken (from RM19), featuring tender meat wrapped in fragrant pandan leaves, allowing the flavours to seep in thoroughly. Other crowd-favourites to share include the rich and aromatic Green Curry Chicken (RM28), and the spicy yet addictive Tom Yam Seafood (from RM29). Brilliant for solo meals is their Pineapple Fried Rice (RM13.90), stir-fried to golden perfection. Seal your delightful meal with an order of Thai Cendol (RM7.90) – shaved ice ladened with gooey gula Melaka.

No-fail aromatic and rich green curry. Not too crazy with the heat, just the perfect dish to eat with a bowl of steaming white rice.

Golden fried rice with sweet pineapple bits, sausage and crunchy cashews sitting in a pineapple boat, this is what dreams are made of.

Fresh steamed squid soaked in refreshing lime juice (with a little spice!). Fans of seafood will be delighted with this simple dish!

My all time favourite spot for Thai eats, never a disappointing visit. This is just one of their many specialties! The chicken was wonderfully tender and flavourful. Note: You have to order a minimum of 5 pieces.

While waiting to watch the Crazy Rich Asians and haven't had our dinner we found this... Very polite service staff they have and while we were thinking is just some common taste thai food... To our surprise other than not costly the taste was magnificent authentic Thai... If I did not remember wrongly we spend RM$49.20 for 2 drinks, 1set and 2 plates of the pork skewers (in photo no. 2 we had 2plates) based on dining in a restaurant with good service and the conversion rate is amount to around SGD$17 for 2pax... ;)

I love this tender pieces of pork leg. It was soft and without that gamey taste of pork. If you really like this dish, I think one person can finish the whole plate, it is not that big portion. Price: RM25/pax, Food: 8/10

Super spicy! It numbed my lips. It taste really good, but if your group isn't spicy taker, just order small portion to try on. I only managed to have a few sips before I surrender. Price: RM25/pax, Food: 8/10
