tbh i thought it was okay only...but the chilli packs a punch and i really like the soup!! had a strong chicken taste and wasn't salty at all
They're apparently proud of their kam heong? What's surprising was the slices were fried til crispy and therefore really enjoyable.
Good! No gripes.
Hmm I didn't like it. The coat was executed superbly, but the beancurd inside was dry and bland.
Good but little.
Back to this big brand after many years. I'm reminded why I don't need to patronise. It's a good headliner, but you can get cheaper or better chicken rice elsewhere lah.
Today's rice was too dry. The soup was still quite bland.
($6.50) comes with choice of steamed or roasted chicken, boiled vegtables and soup. Roasted chicken taste not that bad but too much sauce on vegtables.
In what I coin the chicken rice hawker centre, the most popular stall of them all. I finally bought it way past dinner time and no queue. It's okay, but no better than others imo. The roast meat is the old-school kind. The soy sauce is a lot darker, it comes with salted vegetable and the chilli is spicier than most. Served with a big bowl of soup like all stalls here.
The rice wahaha. This is the most rice I've been given in my life. The uncle see me very up. Also, what's with all the soup given by chicken rice stalls here? But the one here didn't come with much. The meat also quite little. But good there's tau gey. Their ginger sauce had a sticky texture hmm. $4.60 only!
Shortest queue compared to other chicken rice stalls here but surprisingly good. The huge bowl of soup was so much it felt like I would have to pay for it.
Rice was very flavourful
Chicken was tender.
Chilli was on point, spicy.
