The soup was pretty average, with a touch of earthiness from the spice to provide its flavours. 🙃 However, it was pretty one-dimensional and same goes for the noodles as well which failed to absorb any of the flavour, hence tasting rather flat. Beef was unsurprisingly sinew and tasteless, although the meatball did save the dish a bit. I quite liked the complimentary crispy fried pork roll though. Pretty fragrant and savoury! Especially the addition of mushrooms with added a nice fibrous texture. 👍 Alas, it was insanely oil-drippingly greasy — a result of the lack of frying etiquette. 😮‍💨

It was my second time visiting after a few years but still can’t seem to get myself to enjoy this pho. It’s quite sadly a warm bowl of noodles which does not seek my return. 💔 But who knows? Maybe I was twice unlucky and you could enjoy your visit there! Third time’s the charm!

I had $25 eatigo discount which was set to expire hence I didn't want to waste it so ask my friend out to eat just around the vicinity.

We ordered the Spicy Pork Shabu ($7.90), Rice Vermicelli with Pork Chop ($8.90) , Vermicelli Wrap with Pork Belly ($6.90) , Snack Platter ($8.90) & Vietnamese Coffee Ice.

The sauce for the Rice Vermicelli is flavourful and the pork chop is tender. It is a very filling meal for a big eater like me. One bowl of it finished me off just like that. The other side dishes were great to especially their fish cake.

I didn't expect a neighbourhood place have such a delicious yet affordable food.

After eatigo 10% & $25 eatigo discount, the bill came to a total of $9.95.

Pho Street has been my to-go place whenever i crave for vietnamese noodles in sg. They had this seasonal item - prawn noodles some time back.

Served in a bowl of spicy soup, with flat yellow noodles, soft braised pork ribs, prawns &topped with a sesame rice crisp. That soup has a burst of unami flavours - a spicy kick, sweetness from the ingredients &a savoury finish!! Soak that rice crisp till the very end and it will turn slightly soggy but ohsogoooood.

Missing this dish a whole lot &really hope that they will feature this on this menu permanently! Go try it if you see them selling this again!

A piping hot bowl of pho can be had for $9.90 right in the heartlands! The serving size is filling and it taste good. Great for a weekend lunch!

I was expecting the presentation of the food to be slightly better as I compared it with the menu one. But as they say looks are deceiving, the vermicelli is actually very nice. I like the combination of the ingredients in this bowl, pickled veggies, cucumber strips, lettuce, beef and vermicelli. It makes you feel like you're eating this exciting and fresh salad. You have that crunch from the veggies, and the flavour from the sweet chili sauce and fish sauce. Toppled with peanuts, this dish actually blends super well together, like they are in perfect harmony. The spring roll was a delight to munch on, crispy, some tasty pork fillings inside. Also was given a lime not in the picture for me to squeeze it into the bowl, giving me that extra acidic kick to it. However, was a tad bit disappointed that the beef a bit overdone, slightly tough to chew on. .

Warm beef pho that comforts us on a cold rainy day.
Beef slices were cooked to perfection and kept soft
Tried their iced Vietnam coffee too. Refreshing and a good pick me up.

Some suggestions would be to be stronger in taste and less oil for the soup

Glass noodles with fish sauce, lime juice and vietnamese seasoning, served with Bbq chicken marinated with lemon grass and herbs. Absolutely delicious and value for money. :)
