Again, anything matcha here is G.

But overall I would say the food here is very simple but super pricey. Maybe getting the hi-tea set or just some crepes and desserts would be more worth it than the mains.

Was a bit disappointing cause I expected more from this collab between white grass and hvala.

If you’re a fan of super thick and creamy mushroom soups this is it! You can really taste the richness of the soup and the bread to go with it was well toasted.

Light and simple dish.
But not sure if it was worth the price point.

Pretty alright, ebi was thick and crispy.
I’m not a fan of the sauce tho, was a bit sweet for me, would’ve preferred something more savory.

Hojicha sauce sounded experimental but wa it was great. Goes super well with the salad, and the salad was honestly super fresh as well.

Goma Matcha Crepe - $14

Familiar French dessert with a touch of Japanese. Their goma matcha crepe is eye catching, with the all green appearance. Love the goma crumble scattered evenly in the middle, felt like extra thin version of min jiang kueh. Remover to pair the dessert with their array of hand-brewed tea, for a smooth ending

Conceptualised by Head Chef Takuya Yamashita of One-Michelin starred Whitegrass and executed by one of my go-to tea places Hvala 🍡, I was extremely stoked to check out the π™π™§π™šπ™£π™˜π™-𝙅𝙖π™₯π™–π™£π™šπ™¨π™š πŸ‡«πŸ‡·πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ inspired menu at the newly opened @boyutei on Ann Siang Hill.

π™€π™—π™ž 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙨π™ͺ π™Žπ™–π™£π™™π™€ 🦐🍞 - Sandos are all the rage these days, and it's no surprise that Boyutei has jumped onto the Sando bandwagon. This deceptively simple looking dish was much better than we'd expected, with every bite of the thick prawn cutlet filled with juicy chunks of π™₯𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙣, nicely contrasting with fresh (raw) π™˜π™–π™—π™—π™–π™œπ™š drizzled with π™¨π™¬π™šπ™šπ™© π™˜π™π™žπ™‘π™‘π™ž 𝙨𝙖π™ͺπ™˜π™š.

π™ˆπ™–π™©π™˜π™π™– π˜Ύπ™§π™šπ™₯π™š πŸ΅πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ - THE main reason why I visited in the first place! πŸ€πŸ’šπŸ’š As a huge fan of Japanese crepes, how could I miss this chewy rendition of a freshly π™ˆπ™–π™©π™˜π™π™– π˜Ύπ™§π™šπ™₯π™š accentuated with earthy 𝙂𝙀𝙒𝙖 π˜½π™žπ™©π™¨ and π™ˆπ™–π™©π™˜π™π™– π™„π™˜π™š π˜Ύπ™§π™šπ™–π™’ from Hvala? 😍🍡The portion is pretty huge, and good to share for 2 pax!

π˜Ύπ™€π™§π™£ π™Žπ™€π™ͺπ™₯ 🌽 - Sadly, this soup tasted mainly of milk, and we were kinda disappointed that it wasn't bursting with the flavours of corn, nor the satisfying mouthfeel of a good cream soup. It wasn't bad, but wasn't exactly good either.

While the food we tried was mostly delicious, I'm not quite sure if we'd return again since the items weren't exactly mind-blowing for the price tag paid... Nevertheless, definitely recommend swinging by for a try of their signature items at least once! πŸ˜‹β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️
