A recommendation from a friend that I very much needed. This Bun Cha ($9.50) from Little Hanoi is very much a hidden gem that more people should go for!
Hidden within the huge Food Republic food court near Shaw, their Bun Cha came pretty generous with loads of different meats. Their meats were all incredibly smoky, especially the pork belly. I must say that they were abit too dry, but the flavours really made up for it. The meatball given was decent, but the spring rolls were absolutely lovely. They were very crispy on the outside and so meaty within. All the rich meats were well complemented with the cabbage and rice noodles underneath!
I was so glad that they did not neglect their soup as well; it was flavourful yet comforting.
Really one of the best Bun Cha I've had so far. Definitely a cheap food option around town that I will consider!

Saigon Breakfast (S$14.90+)
BÁNH MI OP LA
Lotus Tea (S$5.50+/ pot)
I thought the breakfast item was S$10 nett first 50 orders from 5th to 20th October but I was charged the normal price as the staff told me that the promotion was only for weekdays which was not stated on its instagram page. Quite misleading.
The dish was 2 fried eggs, caramelised onions, pate, luncheon meat, sausage, fish cake, and mayonnaise served in a mini wok, accompanied with a mini baguette, pickled shredded carrot and radish, pepper and soya sauce. Looking like a big breakfast, I preferred to eat it like a mini open sandwich through spreading the baguette with pate and mayonnaise, topping with fried egg, caramelised onion, luncheon meat and pickled carrot and radish. It’s like a bit of everything in a mouthful.
