Quite enjoyed their food, but found their drinks a little on the sweet side. This mango lassi was too tangy cuz of the yogurt.
Price: ~ $4

I could see a lot of effort was put into the burger. The beef patty was enveloped in a layer of melted cheese, and the fries came in a cute basket. Not bad if you're in the area and craving for a burger.

Price: $10.50

When this arrived, I thought it was going to be bad cuz of how colourful/simple it looked. But I was wrong. It was surprisingly quite delicious. The pasta sauce was flavourful, the fish fresh and tender, and the noodles not too soft. I guess looks can be deceiving!

Price: $11.50

P.S. We got an extra 10% off on Eatigo! And if you vote for them for SG Food Masters they'll give you a free mango dessert pizza 😊

My family had mixed reviews about this, but I thought it was not bad. The rice was flavourful, and it was served with a side of cool, tangy yogurt to balance the spice. It had chunks of lamb inside and even came in a cute pyramid!! Price: $11.50

The chicken here is soft and tender. not too dry compared to other restaurant. we recommend to eat with this garlic naan

Overall 8/10. The set here is less than $20. A good place to have prata too.

While I don’t know how authentic this is, we really liked what we had both times we were here so that’s all that matters, right?😛 A pleasant surprise considering they actually serve a variety of cuisines - Thai/ western/ Indonesian/ Indian/ middle eastern so while I’d have usually been deterred by that, not specializing in merely one type of cuisine also means it’s good for groups to cater to individual preference..? Ok I can’t vouch for the other dishes but we generally enjoyed the Indian fare and it’s relatively affordable. -

If you’re feeling snacky, go for the Garlic Butter Naan- buttery, fragrant but not too garlicky, crisp and not too heavy; prata was also light and crisp at the sides. Although it seemed pricier (starting at $1.40 for plain) portion was huge!

I ordered the mushroom cheese ($2.30) and I liked how the ingredients were quite evenly tossed so you get a bit of mushroom/cheese in each bite. Will probably skip the egg onion prata ($2) tho. Apart from the fact that I generally dislike onions, the diced onions seemed to be thrown in possibly too late so it’s not thoroughly cooked/ doesn’t have the fragrance.

Another consistent order so far is the lamb biryani ($11.50). Haven’t had much so while I’m sure you can find better/ cheaper ones out there, I liked this enough. The basmati was fluffy, aromatic while mutton was sufficiently tender and not at all gamey.

The butter chicken ($8) also turned out to be a pleasant surprise - rich, sweet-savoury, very addictive - we ended up pairing it with everything. Not sure if others may find it too sweet but I liked it.

I also liked how the dishes here seem to be hot/ fiery enough but not overly so such that I had to reach for a drink too often. So for people who love spicy food this may be too mild.

probably I havent eaten enough beehoon to be able to tell what’s ‘untypical’...

First time of my entire 23 years eating Indian Rojak, what have I been missing?! This is apparently from the famous Ayer Rajah food centre's Abdhus Salam Rojak. Variety is great, ingredients are fresh. Spent about $21 for 2 but kinda over ordered. So basically you choose whatever you want like a yongtaufoo stall and they'll cut it up and deep fry it. Coconut fritters made with real grated coconut, Vada, and surprisingly the potatoes, simple as it is, were great. I thoroughly enjoyed the squid, cuttlefish fish, and prawn fritters, which is essentially almost everything on the plate. Dip it into the sweet and nutty sauce (which had a generous amount of sesame too) and there you have it - a very satisfying, albeit unhealthy meal.
