quite a short street. 5min can walk finish liao.
wide variety of items for wu xiang. loved the yam thingy and the super duper crispy vege goose especially.
popiah. nothing special. still prefer sg's version by miles which is so much more layered and flavoured.
char kway teow with duck egg cooked over charcoal. also normal. and the portion is super pathetic for the "big" with the price tag. had to queue somemore.
orh luak was good though. although i bo jiak oysters but the quantity was generous. egg was nicely fried too. a good ratio of egg and starch thingy.
black cai tao kueh not inside picture. bland to me. clementi 448's one wins. hands down. legs down. everything down.
satay not in the picture. not bad. but the fats not fatty enough.
lala and sotong not in picture too. no flavour and they were served like lukewarm. terrible.
quite disappointed. would choose newton over this place anytime.
